Abby’s Point of View

I woke up, naked, and next to my husband, his arms were around my waist so I’m not going anywhere until he wakes up. We are leaving for our honeymoon today but he won’t tell me where we are going and the suspense is killing me. I looked at the clock and it read that it is already noon, our flight leaves at four. All I know is that it will be about a five hour flight, so we should arrive at about nine, leaving some time for…stuff. I felt Oli stir next to me and I turned to look at him and he lightly kissed me. “Morning beautiful.” He said and I blushed and smiled at him. I grabbed his pajama shirt that was only a few feet away from me and put it on I stood up and ripped the covers off of Oli, “Get up you bum.” I joked and he sighed and slipped on a pair of boxers. “I’m going to shower and then pack, we will switch off okay?” I said and he nodded and pulled on a pair of sweat pants as I grabbed an outfit before heading for the shower. I quickly showered and then got out and slipped on my black lace bra and matching panties, I am defiantly packing all of my sexy lingerie for this trip. I slid on a pair of black leggings and a lose fitting shirt with a penguin on it. I did blue eye shadow with thin eyeliner and some mascara. I put a white bow into my hair after I combed it out and put on my infinity sign necklace. I put on my new black Toms and my ‘Love’ ring, I stopped to admire to diamond wedding ring, and it was so beautiful and sparkly. I walked out into our bedroom and saw Oli standing shirtless in front of our wardrobe. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist and pressed my lips to the space between his wing bones. “No, I’m still not telling you where we are going.” He said and I walked away to grab my duffel bag. “Dammit it.” I mumbled while I started putting clothes, makeup, shoes, jewelry, and such into my bag.

There was a knock at the door as I was dragging my suitcases down the stairs; it is probably Matty so he can wait. He is going to be staying at our home with Scarlett while Oliver and I are away. I got down the steps and saw Oli standing with the door open, he was talking to Matty and holding Scarlett. I placed my bags next to Oliver’s and walked over to them. “Are you two ready to go?” Matty asked and we both nodded and began taking our bags out to Matt’s car.  I sat in the passenger seat talking to Matty while Oli sat in the back with Scarlett. I was overly excited to get to the airport and fly to wherever we were going, but I’m going to miss my baby girl. We quickly arrived at the airport and went through all of the security crap and went to our gate. Apparently Oli had worked something out with the pilot so we could get on the plane before everyone else, mostly so I don’t hear where the plane is going. Great. I turned to Matty and gave him a hug while Oli was crouched down to Scarlett’s level and he was trying to make her stop crying. I walked over and gave her a hug. “Bye sweetie, we will be back before you know it, you’ll have a lot of fun with Uncle Matty.” I reassured her and she nodded and continued to cry into Oli’s shirt. He picked her up and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Don’t worry princess, mommy and daddy will be back soon, it’s only for two weeks and then we’ll be back home and we can all snuggle and watch movies. Does that sound okay?” he asked her and she smiled and nodded her head. “Alright, we have to go now, Bye Scarlett, I love you.” He said and picked up his carryon bag. “Bye sweetie, I love you, see you soon.” I said and gave her a kiss before handing her to Matty. “See you guys in two weeks, have fun!” Matty said as he waved goodbye and I grabbed my carryon bag before following Oli. He grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine. We got on the plane and took our seats, I had the window seat and Oli was next to me. “Is she going to be okay?” I asked him and he shrugged his shoulders. “She should be, we can call and checkup on her periodically.” Oli said and I nodded my head and looked out the window and waited for the other passengers to board so we could take off.

We already got off of the plane and went to baggage claim. “Come on Oli, we are already in the airport, just tell me where we are!” I exclaimed, he just shook his head and grabbed my hand as we walked to the cab. We walked outside and put our luggage into the boot of the cab, when we got in the man went to ask us where to go but Oli handed him a slip of paper with the address on it before the man could begin to speak.

Oliver’s Point of View

We got into the cab and the driver was about to ask me where we were going but I handed him a slip of paper with the hotel’s address on it so Abby wouldn’t know where we were by his language. Abby quickly fell asleep as we drove to our hotel; when we arrived I handed the man the fair for the ride and thanked him. “Love, wake up.” I said while lightly shaking her shoulder, “Love, we’re at our hotel.” I said as she woke up and stretched. We got out of the cab and grabbed our luggage out of the boot. She looked around but still couldn’t tell where we were because it was dark. We walked into the hotel and I handed the woman a slip and she nodded as she handed me our room key; I have connections so I checked in while Abby was sleeping in the cab and I asked everyone not to speak to her until morning so she didn’t know where we were. On our way up to our room, on the eighth floor she sighed. “Where the hell are we, Oli?” she asked and I just smirked at her and grabbed her hand and led her to our room when the elevator doors opened. We got inside the room and left our luggage by the door after she shut and locked it. “Close your eyes.” I commanded as I grabbed her hand and led her out onto the balcony. “Open them.” I whispered into her ear. She opened her eyes and her jaw dropped as she gazed in astonishment at the lit up Eiffel Tower. “Welcome to Paris.” I said and she whirled around to face me. “Oh my god Oli this is amazing, it’s perfect, and it’s like a dream! I love you.” She said and she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. “Love, we can do this tomorrow, but jetlag is catching up with me and I need some sleep, let’s go to bed.” I said as we walked back inside, hand in hand.
