Chapter 22- Going Out

LIZZY'S POV

We all arrived at the mall... It was really weird because we had 9 people, so it was kind of awkward because we had the store workers following us around all the time thinking we were going to steal. We finally just decided that it was best that we just have lunch then walk around the boardwalk. I felt really bad for Jay because he was just tagging along and walking alone. Nathan and I were holding hands and walking the slowest as normal, Siva and Neeresha were just walking side by side talking to each other and constantly smiling. They are so cute. Max had his arm around Nina, Nina is such a pretty girl. She is so sweet too! Tom had Kels on his back.They were seriously the perfect fit. Kelsey was the typical 25 year old party girl who loves to get drunk and so was Tom. They always goof around and I think they are just perfect for each other. Then there was Jay. Just walking all alone, riding solo. I wish Jess was here so Jay would have someone, I mean they do have something going on with each other. It's pretty obvious too! They would tickle each other and kiss. I mean come on. There is clearly chemistry. My thoughts were interrupted by a sweet soothing voice, "After lunch we are all going to go our separate ways and do stuff on the boardwalk with our girls and then meet up later. Does that sound okay?" His voice sent chills down my spine. "Totally is... but quick question!" I looked up at Nathan. He nodded, meaning he wanted me to ask. "Who's Jay going to go with? I mean I kind of feel bad that he is alone." "He's going with Max&Nina. Maybe he'll find a girl to hook up with." I frowned at Nathan. I wasn't too happy about what he said. I mean he had to know that there is something going on between him and Jess. Why would he say that? "Umm. Well maybe he doesn't want to. He has Jess, you know? They do kind of have a thing going on" I scuffed. he widened his eyes like he had made a mistake or forgotten. "Oh yeah! I so forgot about that" he said back to me and laughed. We walked into the restaurant and took our seats. I sat next to Jay and Neeresha with Nathan across from me. I saw that Jay looked pretty upset and was texting someone on his phone. I leaned over a tad to see who he was texting. Jess. He misses her. I knew it. "You miss her buddy, don't you?" I whispered to Jay. He nodded and frowned. I patted his back showing that I was there if he needed someone to talk to.

~After we were done eating~

We got to the board walk and went our separate ways. Siva&Neeresha went to the games. Max,Nina&Jay went to the Chevy Court to watch the concert there. I believe it was Midnight Red. Tom and Kelsey went to the beach and I dragged Nathan to the rides. I know that he hates them but I'm making him go in them. I was starting off with minor things than working my way up so Nathan. Didn't kill me later. I went over to the go-karts. I smiled at him. he grinned really large. "He'll yeah!" I laughed at him. We ran over and got in the carts we were racing each other. He was a tad bit infront of me, I Thought it would be fun to pass him, that's what I'm suppose to do in go-karting! Duh! I blew Nathan a kiss and then passed. He frowned as I passed the finish line before him. I threw my hands up in the air and laughed. After go-karting we went on the tilt-a-whorl. I thought it was funny watching Nathan's face we swung around really fast in the bucket. He didn't like this. "I HATE THIS LIZZY!!!" I laughed and kissed his cheek and hugged him as the ride was slowing down. We got off and went on the paragliders. He seemed to really like that one. I took a picture of us before the ride started and set it as my background. It was a really cute picture of Nathan and I. After that we went on a roller coaster. This might be the last thing we do because it was getting really dark out. And it was 9:00 at night. Nathan was screaming the entire time and I was laughing because he was screaming like a little girl! When the ride was over we went to look at the picture the ride took. I was laughing my head off while Nathan was screaming. I thought it was hilarious. I looked at Nathan and smiled as we walked away. He laced his fingers with mine. That's when I saw it. It was perfect. The slingshot. My eyes lit up. I looked at Nathan. "NO." I laughed and pulled him over. We kept flipping and flipping. I had to admit, I was screaming too. It was pretty bad, but funny. We got off the rude and started falling all over the place because we were so dizzy. Then Nathan caught me. I looked into those pretty green eye he had and kissed him. It was incredible. I had the most fantastic night with him. No fans coming up to him, no ignorant rude people calling me names. No Pesky boys around us, just me and Nathan. Perfect.
