Rays of sunlight entered the room. The refreshing wind, opened the windows, letting the curtains dance, and unblocking the sounds of sweet bird chirps and laughter of children, playing outside.

Warmth. That was what she was feeling. Under the comfortable hold of his warm hands, in the embrace of his warm body. Whenever around him, she felt at home.

Softness. It was one thing she had that allured him. The softness of her smooth skin, the softness of her golden, fluffy hair. If he could, he would want to use it as perfume.

The couple, lay on their bed. Enjoying the presence of each other. This was one of the perfect moments they wouldn't change for anything. But alas, all good things must come to an end.

The man fluttered his chocolate, brown eyes open. He smiled, seeing his spouse lay beneath his embrace. He moved a lose stray of her hair away from her face and caressed one of her cheeks. The gesture tickled her, causing her to wake. She yawned and gazed at his brown orbs, that was enough to make her whole day. Her lips curved to a smile as he moved closer. He rubbed his nose with hers, the sensation made her giggle. Her laughs always tugged his heartstrings.

"Good morning, Marco." she said, placing a hand on his chest.

"Good morning, Star." he played with the strands of her hair.

"What do you wanna do today?" she asked, burying her face in the crook of his neck.

Her breaths tickled him, his face flustering to a deep shade of red. After calming down, he answered.

"Lay in bed with you the whole day."

She giggled once more.

"I'd like that too." she closed her eyes and relaxed, wishing that this moment would never end.

"Mom! Dad! Comet stole my phone!"

"Because she took my robot controller!"

The holler of their kids, made them laugh. They both sat up and leaned on the headboard. The blonde, rested her head on her husband's shoulder.

"When will they stop?" she chuckled.

"Well, they're only 10, probably when they reach adulthood." the brunette responded, a playful smile etched his lips.

"Their always like this in the morning."

Star nodded, completely agreeing with him. She stood up and walked to the closet, putting on some clothes before returning to sit in the bed.

Marco looked at his wife, quizzically. That glint on her eyes were all too familiar.

"Its your turn to keep them from killing each other." she said, smiling mischievously.

Marco faked a groan, before tackling her to the ground.

"Just a minute."

And with that, he sealed the space between them with a long, tender kiss. That similar spark ignited, just like their first kiss when they were teens.

Then the door bursted open, revealing an exasperated Comet.

"Mom! Nova won't-aaaah!"

The young boy covered his mouth with a hand, the other holding onto his stomach. His face turned slightly green, and he was using all will power not to puke.

"Dad! Don't listen too-"

Nova entered the room, her face shocked as she saw her parents. She quickly covered her eyes, being the eldest among the two of them, she called for her parents to stop.

Star and Marco looked at them instantly, before laughing and standing up.

The siblings looked at each other then looked back to their parents, there was a slight pause before they yelled in unison.

"You guys are gross!"

Short but cute. Hope you enjoyed! Till next time!
