Chapter 6
Situation swarmed in his head. But he came up with no explanation but juvenile delinquency. How can a guy like Linc take up this kind of junk? Was he depressed? No, his father even gave him a car.
Alice saw her father at the living room with papers infront of him, working on the case, she thought. She took the plastic bag from her backpack and sat infront of her father.
Edgar frowned at the plastic bag with tons of blue tablets. Alice tapped on it and smirked, "That is the drug Linc could've possibly taken before the accident. I tested it on the junkies on our school, it was really funny watching them look for adrenaline and things like that.
"What drug did you copied?" Edgar asked.
"Tutties. It's the most odd on the three I narrowed down."
"I got to say, Alice, you're a fast one. You got to recreate the drug before my team even got to confirm it's this." he said.
"What did your team say?"
"It's definitely Tutties, the other two had a slight difference to these." he said and picked the bag up, "But how did he got possession of these goodies when it's not yet been discovered in our town and the neighboring ones?"
Alice raised her eyebrow and looked at her father, of course she already knows the explanation, all she needed to know was the details.
"It's obvious that he's got someone with him. Dad, you need to question Jane." she said.
"Jane? Why Jane? You think Jane got tons of this?" he said pointing at the bag.
"No, Dad, Jane's my best-friend I don't think that Jane has Tutties." she said, "But, Jane knows who Linc hangs out with."
"And that would be the junkies at your school." he retorted, "I already searched them and their house, their lockers, all possible hiding place."
"I know, when I brought them those they said they haven't seen anything like that." Alice said.
"But the junkies are the only possible people that Linc hangs out with."
"it's not the junkies, Dad. Their too dumb to have these kind of hotshot. This supplier is much more powerful or maybe smarter." she said.
"Who do you think it is?" he asked his daughter.
"For the first time in my entire life, I don't know, Dad. It could be anyone with an IQ above one hundred and fifty or maybe someone with a bank account that is as fat as Winnie the Pooh."
Edgar was about to let it go when something struck to him. He hated the idea but it was a possibility.
"You have an IQ above one hundred and fifty, Alice." he said.
Alice widened her eyes and stared at her father, "You think I'm the one who gave Linc Tutties?"
"It could be, Ali. It's a window." he said, "How am I suppose to know how you got tons of this things?"
"I made them." she said, "Just this afternoon. You can even ask the chemistry supervisor, I asked permission to use the laboratory."
"How did you make them?"
She blew out a breath, "I found a site in the internet that gives you a list of meds and how to make them. I found Tutties and decided to make them and taunt Linc."
"Show me this site, maybe we can get my team to redirect the IP address of the one who made it. The one behind that site could be the one who gave Linc the drugs."
