At the door to the Omega classrooms, Luhan felt the blunt of Sehun's unhappiness, his upper lip twisted in a scowl as he glared daggers at the door - or more likely, the reflection of Kris in the window of the door. Luhan felt bad for letting his emotions go haywire for those few seconds in the Infirmary. Now Sehun felt threatened, no doubt, which didn't make any kind of sense since they were already Bonded and Kris was showing just about zero percent interest in anything but his task. Luhan knew it would have made more sense if it was Luhan feeling threatened over Kris making moves on Sehun, but somehow, Luhan just couldn't help but think the entire situation was a little backwards.
Luhan decided to reassure Sehun that he would remain faithful no matter what. Giving the poor Omega a smile, he pushed the door to the classroom aside and stepped inside with Sehun's arm still tucked under his elbow. Sehun looked alarmed for a second, blushing immediately when the Professor abruptly stopped the lecture and everyone turned to them.
Lay immediately shot up from his seat, his eyes wide. "Luhan, you're alright!"
Luhan flashed him a quick, reassuring smile and a short wave before he focused his attention on the Professor, bowing his head. "I'm terribly sorry for interrupting."
Professor Kim smiled wide, obviously recognizing his former student, and he stepped closer to pat his shoulder. "It's alright, Han. I've heard about your hospitalization, I understand. I assume you're here to drop Sehun off?"
Luhan nodded, patting the back of Sehun's hand and stealing a quick kiss to his cheek. Sehun turned crimson, but Luhan could see that he was no longer worried about Kris or anything, just more focused on getting rid of his embarrassment and all the attention on him. He smiled when Lay beckoned Sehun over.
Before he could leave, Luhan leaned into Sehun's ear. "We can eat dinner together."
Sehun's ears went red and he scurried off up into the mass of Omegas, squirming his way to the free seat beside Lay and keeping his head low. Luhan smiled at the sight, gave Lay a soft nod, and left the room.
Kris was leaning against the wall beside the door. "Ready to go?"
Fighting the quickened beat of his heart, Luhan nodded, a little fearful of what was to come. Classes didn't go all too hot for him before, and now he was expected to go back and pretend like he was alright while Kris hovered over him. Still, he was happier to have Kris as a bodyguard than have nothing at all. If he got into another fight then he wasn't too sure he would make it out with his life. Two beatings were enough to last him forever.
"We have a Hunting class next, but everyone in the course already knows the basics. The Professor asked me and a boy named Kai to assist you in private lessons, since we're already top of the class and you know next to nothing," Kris explained quietly, before he paused, giving Luhan an apologetic side glance. "Sorry. That sounded a little offensive, I didn't mean it that way."
Luhan blushed, avoiding eye contact, trying his best to keep that image of Sehun's timid smile from the Infirmary in his head. "It's alright. I really don't know anything about this, so I don't find it offensive."
Kris chuckled, a deep rumbling sound that sent goosebumps running up Luhan's arms. "You'll pick up on it sooner or later. Hunting isn't all too hard to do, even if it sounds difficult."
Luhan decided to keep silent, ignoring Kris's presence beside him and focusing more in his words. Hunting wasn't all too hard? He certainly hoped so, since everything else seemed hard enough as it was already. Hopefully he could pick up on the ropes of Hunting in general as well, since he was already behind enough as it was. He really wanted to be on the same level as everyone else. Especially since there were people who could probably - and would, probably - kick his ass.
