23: Disneyland

"hey wheres Harper?" James said as he opened the door to greet me and Grayson standing there,

"she's got work, sorry Jay," i said as he came out of the door and we all went down to the car.

"who else is coming?" i asked, "Grayson said that he asked his friends like you suggested," i continued.

"ok good, and Grace is going to meet us there, she didnt want to intrude on things," James said as he got into the back seat,

"James... sit in the front, i can sit in the back," Grayson insisted as he clambered into the back seat.

"he's a keeper, girlie..." James said as he swapped places with Grayson.

after around a 40 minute drive of James asking Grayson about 100 questions, we arrived at Disneyland.

"i just texted the guys to see when they're going to get here," Grayson said as he got out of the car, "yeah... Grace said that she's over by the gate waiting," James then said as he pointed to the gate that seemed miles away. "we better get a move on then..." i said as i slung my cross body over my shoulder. today i have gone for a pair of light wash jeans, a disney top (i have the spirit), my white converse and my black sunglasses. my hair was pushed back into a pony tail and i was wearing minimalistic makeup whilst focusing more on the sun protection than anything. in my bag i had all of the necessities that i felt i would need today such as more sun cream, lots of water and money (for more spirit stuff).

"hey guys!" Grace said as she waved at us from the other side of the gate, "the queue is shorter over here so come on," she said as she walked along the gate and we all followed.

"who is she?" Grayson asked as he came closer to my ear which made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, "oh, uh... she's James's sister... they're pretty close so don't get too creeped out," i said in a jokey tone, "whatcha talking about," James said being nosey, "oh, you know... stuff," i said trying to cover up the weird conversation. his eyes narrowed and he called us weird. both of us laughed and Grayson wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "oh yeah, she's really friendly too, so..." i said hoping he would pick up on my indication, "shall i warn my friends?" he asked and to which i nodded.

Nate, Ethan and Alex met us inside near the entrance and we all wandered around as a big group, but before that...

"hi! I'm Grace," she said as she leaned in for a big hug with each guy. they all were a bit taken back by her force, the four boys introduced themselves and we all awkwardly stood there.

"so... what first?" i asked everyone, "umm... i was thinking that one!" Grace said as she pointed at the only big rollercoaster that disney had. a few people said yeah and i nodded as all 7 of us headed over to the ride.

"shotgun sitting with Ava!" Nate shouted as we were just about to board the ride after a long queue. Grayson gave him the evils and resorted to sitting with Ethan who seemed a bit scared. Alex was on his own and James sat next to his sister.

i got into the furthest seat and Nate came and sat next to me, we pulled the bar over our heads and braced ourselves,

"hopefully Grayson's not too pissed with me," he said mid laugh, "yeah, he didn't look too happy with you calling shotgun," i said laughing as well, "well, thats Grayson for you," he said like it was a normal thing, "how do you mean?" i asked his as the ride started going up on the tracks, "oh you know... he likes to keep his girls safe i guess... not that I've ever met any of his girlfriends, he's a bit of a loner when it comes to that sort of stuff," he said which made me smile to know that he wanted me to be his and no-one else's.

once the ride was over, i walked up to Grayson who was chatting with Ethan about something, "hey boyfriend," i said as he wrapped his arm around me, "you didn't cry too much," i said teasing him, he sarcastically laughed and said that Ethan was the one who almost cried as he hated rides, "E, you could've said... you didn't have to go on it," i said feeling sympathetic for him. "nah," he shook his head, "its all good."

we went on a few more rides such as space mountain, it's a small world, splash mountain and all of the other iconic rides at disney. Grayson sat next to me a few times when we went on rides, he sat next to me on the haunted mansion ride incase i got 'scared', which i then found out that it was just an excuse to cuddle me which i gawped at and i felt every hair on my neck stand up.

we then headed off to the giant disney store to escape the high temperatures of 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

"how about this princess," i jokingly asked Grayson as i held up a princess dress which made Ethan laugh. James had gone off with Grace to the toilets since they went everywhere with each other, he also said that they were going to go back to space mountain while we mucked about in the shops.

i took funny snapchats of all of them (except Nate) wearing hilarious disney items.

"come on Nate! put it on," Alex begged as he tried to put the elastic under his chin, "no! i have pride," he screeched as he ducked out of the way of Alex. "your such a bad sport," Grayson said pouting at him annoyed, "well... i don't care," Nate snapped. Grayson hadn't said much to him after he was all protective over me earlier.

in the end, Grayson bought me a mini dumbo soft toy because he knew i loved elephants. then, i got myself a few mugs, i got an Olaf one, a baby Micky one and finally, a WALL-E and Eve set (one for me and one for Grayson). i think the others got novelty mouse ears at the beginning of the day, Nate got a snow white pair, Alex got a Belle pair, Ethan got a goofy hat and finally, Grayson got a Minnie pair that i wore most of the time since he felt embarrassed wearing them.

when the day came to an end, Grayson went off in Nate's car with the others and i drove James back his apartment.

when i got back to my apartment, i was greeted by a sobbing Harper and a hyper puppy,

"hey, what's going on?" i asked her as i dropped my keys on the side and sat down next to her, "it's... it's Jack," she sobbed, i furrowed my eyebrows and asked her what happened, "well..." she started, "he broke up with me!" and she burst into even more sobs. she passed me her phone so reveal a paragraph that was along the lines of this

'Harper, i hope you take your time to process what I'm about to say. i love you, i really do but i can't go long distance anymore... its killing me. i know that we are destined to be together but nothing is working for us and it kills me when i have to leave to go back home after our visits. and so, life goes on and i hope you find it in your heart to forgive me some day for my current actions, Jack'

after reading his message i turned back to Harper who had braved up a little bit and told her that everything will be okay over time if she gave it time. my words came across quite uneasily for her as she cuddled up to Peanut who wanted to show her support.

"you don't need no man!" i said pretending to be Peanut as she licked Harpers face, this made her laugh through her tears.

"how about a greasy pizza and ice cream?" i offered her which she turned down, "no... lets go out for dinner... i need to meet new people since I'm single," and just like that, Harper rushed off to the bathroom and got ready.
