I promise to start making the chapters longer

"Where the hell are you Zoe? Ash won't call me back, and neither will any of the other boys!" Mum startles me, and I struggle to stay awake. "Do you have any idea what the time is- Zoe, it's almost 10 am. You better be home by half past-"
"Mum, we're all adults." I cut in, rubbing my temples slowly and leaning forward. "We're in the city, okay? We went to visit the Opera House last night and then went for ice cream, then got a few drinks, then fell asleep in the car instead of driving home. We're fine."
Apart from a slightly sore head, and insane cramp in my left leg, I feel perfectly normal. Ash had some cushions and blankets in his trunk, and we collapsed down all of the seats, making a makeshift sleeping area. I fell asleep using Luke's stomach as a pillow, and Calum's arm to keep me warm.
Okay, I was warm enough without his arm but I really enjoy the feeling of his strong arms wrapped around me.
My mum sighs from the other end of the phone call and I mentally prepare myself for another rant. "I just- I just forget that sometimes, you've all grown up, alright? Please try to get home as soon as you can. I invited Hollie's family round for dinner-"
"What? Why would you do that?"
"She's your best friend, Zo. I don't know what's gotten into you since the boys came home but you can't just leave your friends behind."
"What if she's a fúcking shít- oh crap, I mean, what if she's a really bad friend?" I stumble over my words, my eyes drifting to Calum's sleeping body. He looks so peaceful, his toned chest rising and falling with every breath he takes, his hair all messy and spewed across his forehead, his mouth slightly open.
"Zoe... Fine, you know what? You don't have to come. You can take Lauren out."
"Deal."
Mum sighs again. "Well that's just great." I can almost imagine her shaking her head but trying to hide her chuckles. "I take it you'll stop for breakfast on your way home?"
"Yeah, probably. If this lot ever wake up." I laugh, and mum laughs too.
"Right. Well, bye, love you."
"Love you too mum."
Running out of ways to make myself look presentable, I run my fingers through my hair and throw it up in a messy bun, apply some of the lip salve that was in the glove box of Ashton's car, and spray myself with the men's deodorant I found. Although, for a male scent, it isn't like your average LYNX, so that's always a bonus. There's a small cherry air spray lying on the floor so I screw off the lid and pour some on my wrists, hoping to now smell slightly better.
None of the boys are awake yet, but we have a while before we need to leave, so I sit on a cushion and put in my headphones, about to turn on my music when I notice that Calum actually is awake.
"Oh, hey." I say shyly, pulling out my headphones and smiling at him. He grins and waves back, running his fingers through his messy hair.
"Damn, if I looked as good as you when I woke up I don't think I would ever get dressed." He mumbles and I blush, my face heating up immensely.
"Thanks, although you look very good yourself."
Now it's his turn to blush, his tan cheeks turning pink under the sudden spotlight.
