Opposites Attract {Janiel}

Chapter 1

~Joey's POV~

 I fall to the ground, dropping my books on the ground. I turn around to spot Sawyer and his group laughing and whispering dirty secrets among each other. I sigh and I clench my fist. Why me. What did I do to deserve this shit? I'm sick and tired of taking Sawyer's crap. I want to get up, brush myself off, and give him a big slap in the face...but I can't. I can't be put through more torture then I already suffer. It's better to be hidden in high school, then to be known as a chump.

I quickly snap out of my thoughts and pick myself up. I scramble all my books together and head into my 4th period class, Chemistry. The class where none of "them" are. Thank the lord. I quickly sneak my way into chemistry, and I take a seat in the front of the room, like always. I shuffle through my notes and papers in a struggle to get organized. "And this is your fourth period class, where you will be having chemistry." I hear a female voice say outside the door. I recognize the voice as the principle, probably introducing a new student around. I get up quickly, pretending like I'm going to get a tissue, to see who the new student is. I look out the door to see a beautiful guy with beautiful green eyes. His hair is a beautiful brown. Did I mention he's beautiful? snap out of it, Joey. He's probably someone who belongs in sawyer's group, too beautiful for a chump like me. He's probably not even gay. I sigh to myself. "Oh, and here's one of your classmates, Joey Graceffa!" The principle says, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh hi!" I smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm Joey! " I smile and stick my hand out for him to shake. He shakes it, and I ultimately freak out, and he responds "Hi! I'm Daniel Preda!" He smiles back. Daniel. Such a beautiful name. I head back to my seat and the principle takes him to show him around the school. My teacher walks in and we begin class.

I head to lunch, and I take my seat with Connor, Troye, and Tyler. We say our hellos and we begin to eat our shitty school lunch. I hear girls laughter and guys talking, so I turn around to see Sawyer and his gang. Of course. I see an unfamiliar face among the crew of retards. I squint t see who its is, and I realize it's Daniel. I sigh. I saw it coming. I turn around and continue to eat my lunch. "Everything ok?" Connor asks as he heard me sigh. "Yeah." I said, and continued to eat my salad. They all look at each other and shrug, and continue eating.

I close my locker and grab my book bag. I walk over to Tyler's locker, and I wait for him to finish packing. He closes his locker and we begin to walk. As we walk, we pass Sawyer's crew, and we avoid contact. I can't help to look over and see if Daniel's there. Maybe he was just walking in at the same time they did? Unfortunately, I see him in the crew, laughing. He looks at me and smiles, and I quickly turn away, hoping he didn't see me staring at him, lost in my thoughts. As we walk pass them Tyler laughs. "What?" I ask him. He laughs some more. I smile at his laugh. "What" I push him as I laugh. "I see someone can't keep their eyes off Daniel!" He smiles and I blush. "No! I just got lost in my thoughts and ended up staring at him." I say, and he smiles and stares at me. "Really?" He laughs and we hop on the bus and take our seats. "Really" I laugh and we fall silent. "Okay, maybe I do like Daniel a tiiiiiiiny bit." I blush and Tyler pokes me "Joey's got a crush!!!!" He squeals and I push him to stop him, and I smile.

We hop off the bus and say our goodbyes, and I walk to my house. I unlock the door. "Hi Joey! How was school?" My mom greets me inside. "Good" I smile, give her a hug, and I run upstairs. I close my bedroom door and pull out my textbooks to start my homework.

A/N: Hola! I'm back! I've had writer's block and I didn't know what fanfic to write! I'll try to update as often as I can! I decided to do a high school Janiel fic cause why not? Anyways, hope you enjoy the first chapter! Love you guys <3
