Saving Diana || One Direction

Pieces of the puzzle- Diana's pov

Me and Josh were just standing on the stage, he whispered something to Niall before pulling away from me.

"Josh whats wrong?"

"Nothing"

"Mkay"

The concert had ended, Niall had gone straight home, the others had gone out for pizza, while me and josh were going to have a sleepover at my flat.

Elouise My flatmate, was out of  town visiting her family in Lancaster, we'd managed to sneak out of the venue pretty easily and i don't think anyone recognized Josh anyway. 

"So where we going?"

"96 Torrin way"

"Okay!"

"Josh can i ask you a question?"

"Yeh sure"

"Why does Niall act so weird around me?"

"He's just a bit shy, that's all babe"

"If you say so"

We got to my flat, and went inside, ti was quite big 3 bedrooms so we could always have guests over if needed.

"Do ya want a drink"

"Yep, but just the one, i don't want to get drunk, especially when we have another show tomorrow!"

"Ok"

I poured some red wine into 2 of our best glasses before handing one to josh...

"Thank you"

"Its fine, what ya wanna do?"

"Movie night?"

"Sure, you go pick a movie and ill make us some popcorn"

While josh was finding a DVD for us to watch i went to make the popcorn, i got out the sugar and the corn before melting the sugar down to become caramelized, once the popcorn maker had finished popping, i took the hot pan of the stove.

"Diana"

"yep"

"Can we watch-"

"SHIT"

"What?"

"I split the bloody hot sugar over my arm"

Josh ran over, before throwing my burned arm under the cold tap.

"Why ya do that"

"I didn't mean to"

"Come on"

"What?"

"You need to go to hospital"

"Why its only a little burn isn't it?"

"No, you've split boiling sugar all over you're arm, its not just a little burn babe"

"Ok"

Josh took me outside and into the car, i had to admit my arm was really hurting me, i'd got a bag od ice laying on it right now.

"Are you ok babe?"

"I'm fine, it just hurts a bit"

We got to the hospital, it was really cold but they're wasn't time to go back to get  a jacket we'd be inside soon anyways.

Shit, the paparazzi were already here, i covered my face with my hair and wrapped my non burned arm around josh, before running inside.

"Woah"

"Yup, news spreads like wildfire round here, come on  lets get you checked in"

" Hello, erm this is my girlfriend, she burned her arm, can you help her please?"

"Oh my god its Josh Devine, I'm such a big fan of your work, oh my god"

"And i'd be a fan of your work if you could help us"

"Ok, Sure whats you're name?"

"Diana Cameron"

"Date of birth?"

"30/71993"

"Ok, take a seat and a doctor will be with you shortly"

We sat down, well there was only one seat so i was siting on josh's lap right now, but i didn't mind.

"I'd better text the boys to tell them what happened"

"Okay"

"Diana Cameron, come with me"

We followed the doctor into a small white room, he took out his pen an sat down at his desk.

"Right, so Diana why are you here?"

"I burned my hand earlier"

"and how did you do that?"

"I accidentally poured hot sugar over my hand"

"Right can i have a look?"

"Sure"

I took of the ice, revealing my burned hand.

"Ok, well i think we need to put on some cream, and give you a bandage, come with me and we'll sort that out, erm, Diana's  Friend-"

"Im her boyfriend and its josh"

"Ok, Josh you wait here, well be back very soon"

"Ok, Diana be careful"

"Bye josh!"

I followed the doctor, down the corridor and into sat dwon on the blue chair while he went to get the materials to patch up my burned hand, he came back after a few seconds.

"Right, im going to put on some numbing spray so you dont feel anything, it may hurt to start with tho"

"Ok"

He sprayed my hand, with the cold blue liquid that instantly froze as it touched my skin, leaving a stinging sensation.

"Ok, now we're going to put on some healing cream, and then i'll bandage you up"

"Okay thanks"

The nurse, took my back to the waiting room before leaving, again Josh was talking someone. I decided to listen in.

"Niall, please don't do this i know you love her but i do too"

What were they talking about?

"I don't care anymore Josh i love her and it's tearing me apart"

"Niall please, don't do this"

"No, I love Diana and this is the only way I can get rid of my feelings"

I walked in, Josh turned around he had clearly seen me.

"Josh?"
