Saving Diana || One Direction

An unexpected face.

July 30th 2021.
'Mommy can we go swimming today?' Alana asked. She was now 5 and the cutest little girl ever, she was exactly like josh in most ways apart from her hair which had lightened it's self and was now like mine, dirty blonde. 
'Of course, we have nothing else planned do we?' I replied. We now lived in Melbourne hardly far the beach we moved 2 years ago, I've always wanted to live in Australia but with school and everything I couldn't. 
'Yay, can daddy and Nolan come too?' She asked. Nolan was her younger brother he was 4 and Alana loved him, we usually called them Lani and Noel. 
'Of course darling, is daddy with him now?' I pondered
'They're eating breakfast in the kitchen, when can we go?' She whined 
'Go get them and we'll be there by 10am, promise' I replied. Alana hoped away, she held her favourite teddy in her left hand, her thumb was in her mouth. 
I threw a bottle of sun cream, a Vaseline, my keys mine and Josh's phone, four towels,my flip flops, tablet and other bits and bobs in a beach bag. Lani ran into my room holding hands with Nolan, Josh behind them. 
'Nolan get dressed, josh help him please I'll get Lani ready, his swim shorts are in his draw' I asked
'Of course' he replied 
I put Lani in her tankini, I was not comfortable letting a 5 year old wear a bikini, so she had a tankini instead. 
I put sun cream on her and added a sun hat, she put shorts on over her swim wear and I threw in her undies and a top for when we came home which would probably be around 5ish.

'Mommy swim with me' Alana shouted 
'Wheres daddy?' I asked placing my book down on the towel next to me.
'He went to get us ice creams!' Nolan shouted appearing beside his sister
'Ill swim with you when daddy gets back so he can look after our bags' I replied glancing at my already tanned legs
'Okay' Nolan said unhappily 
They eat there twisters and josh wiped the ice cream of there chins 
'Lets go swim mommy' Alana shouted dragging me and Nolan out to the sea. 
We went and spent the rest of the day messing around in the sea, josh build a car in the sand which both Nolan and Lani loved. 
Josh was making sandcastle a with Nolan while I was braiding Alana's hair, I was going for a real braid headband, I always played with her long dirty blonde hair, she loved it and it gave us something to do.
A lady walked over to us, she looked British and was about my age. 
'Im sorry for interrupting your afternoon but you look really familiar do I know you?' She asked. I guessed right she was British.
'I don't recognise you sorry?' I replied
Josh came running over with Nolan.
The woman turned round and looked at him in awe.
'Thats why I recognised you, your Josh Devines wife, oh my god you know you appear in magazines every day back home I'm surprised I didn't know you straight away' she rambled
'Hello?' Josh asked clearly not knowing what was going on
'Im Ana' she replied shaking his hand 'I'm a big fan' she continued with a smile
'Oh hello' josh said 
'Who is this mommy' Nolan asked quietly 
'Its Ana she's a fan of daddy' I whispered back placing Nolan on my hip.
'Anyways I don't want to disturb you I better be off, thank you' Ana said walking off.
'She was rather nice' I commented 
'Yeah she was'

It was 10pm the children where in bed, they had had burgers for tea, as had we. We put away the barbecue and were watching a film, well Josh was I was reading my favourite book on my kindle, thirty eight days. 
Tap tap tap.
Was that the door? Who would call at this time? 
'Ill get it' I said jumping over the sofa,Josh paused the film.
I unlocked the door and rubbed my eyes.
'Surprise' the familiar voice said
'El?' I was in a state of shock
'Surprise' 
A/N hiiii I found my phone, my ICT teacher had it, thanking him (metaphorically of course considering he is not located anywhere near me) I am at the hospital because I had an allergic reaction in school, eghhhh. Only 3 chapters until it's finished  that depressed me. Xoxo ~corky
