"Zane?" Aphmau whispered, as he was about to leave.

"Hm?" He hummed in a soft questioning way. "I know this is a lot to ask but" she drifted off into silence.

"Can you please stay with me?" She asked, Zane was silent, as he didn't know what to respond with. He was certain to say yes because he enjoyed her company. "Yes, though you do know I've got duties to do early tomorrow. Although for your sake, I'll stay" Zane said, he wasn't proud of it. But at least he could be alone with her.

Aphmau got up slightly, her weak legs carrying her to the window and sat on it. "Zane?" She whispered? "Yeah?" He replied, shifting towards the window sill, leaning against it. "Be honest, did you use the pendant on me?" She asked, biting her bottom lip.

"Aphmau, you've got to listen to me, I'd never do that. But, sometimes I just wish the past disappeared so people like you don't assume things that aren't true. All because of a stupid emotion" he muttered slightly at the end, as he stared at her glistening eyes.

"I'm guessing you don't believe me?" Zane sighed, as Aphmau stayed quiet. "It's just--" "because of the past on that island dimension? Where we kind of showed signs of likeness? Well, I did show you that I like you, but I'd never go that far to use some spell of a pendant and make you become pregnant. I'd never do that" Zane spoke, his voice was quite truthful, along with the words he phrased.

There was a sound of rustling, as it drifted off into silence, though along with it was footsteps. "Do you think it was?" Aphmau nodded, "I bet it's Laurance" She mumbled, her teary eyes looked out towards the stars, "I wish he knew that we are here to help, not destroy him to pieces" she cried out, slamming her weak fist again the window sill.

"Heh, you became more violent as a person with this 'she-wolf' problem" Zane chuckled, "oh hush" Aphmau laughed softly.
