It was hot. My clothes seemed to be sticking to me, suffocating me. I opened my eyes his head laid lazily on my chest as his limbs held on to me tightly. I smiled he looked so content sleeping. His face holding a calm expression. I tried to peel away from his grasp as her groaned in diaprovement and rolled over gripping the pillow with him. I smiled and walked over to the bathroom turning on the shower.
I stripped off my clothes and stepped under the warm water feeling it trickle down my back and legs. I wish every morning would be like this care free and quiet. No yelling just peace and quiet. I heard the curtain pull back and my eyes shot open as I grabbed the curtain covering myself.
"Louis!" I half scream half whisper.
"What? I'm just showering." he smirked his eyes raking over my body. "Now why don't you let go of the curtain the water is going on the floor." He said stepping closer pulling on the curtain.
"Lou-"
"Ellie are you in the shower? Why is the bookshelf on the ground? Are you okay?" My mom asked on the other side of the door.
I looked at Louis warily as a devilish smirk appeared on his lips. "Yea I'm in the shower um I guess it just fell last night but I'm okay." I lied biting the inside of my cheeck.
"Okay well hurry up breakfast is ready." she called.
"I'm not hungry." I said rolling my eyes.
"Ellie you have to eat. Now hurry up." she said firmly and I heard her footsteps walk away from the door.
"Well you better hurry." Louis said making me turn to look at him.
He looked absolutely breath taking. His hair wet dangling over his eye his skin glistening as the water dripped off his body. I had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't say anything I would regret.
"Louis you need to get your clothes on and leave before my parents see you." I said looking down at my feet.
"You don't have to kick me out." he said stepping close enough to me lifting my chin up with his gentle touch.
"Yes I do."
"Just tell them."
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because I don't know what this even is." I said looking up as his hand fell and he took a step back. his jaw was clenched as he grabbed his boxers and slipped the over his body. "Louis you know it's true." I said my voice barely audible.
"Well what do you want me to do?" he said his voice raising.
"Louis please dont." I begged.
"Don't what?!" He bellowed.
"Don't yell at me!" I said back equally as loud.
"Well I can't stop! when ever I'm around you I have to yell at you. we are always fighting. I'm glad you ended this before it even started!" he shouted opening the bathroom door.
"I didn't mean it that way." I said tugging the curtain closer to my body.
"Save it." he spat harshly.
"Louis..." I said my voice trailing off as I watched him pulling his clothes over his legs and his shirt over his body and pushing back his damp hair out of his face.
Then he was gone just like the last time. Louis left wondering why I even said or did the things I did. It's obvious that he doesn't feel the way I feel. He is jut using me like all the other girls. I sighed and turned off the shower stepping out and drying off my body with a towel. I grabbed my underwear and then a pair of dark washed jeans then a white jumper and pull it over my head. My hair was still damp so I just left it dripping down my back.
I walked down the stairs an into the kitchen. I sat down at the table and grabbed the plate my mom made from her and thanked her quietly.
"Who was up there with you?" she asked sitting down next to me.
I nearly choked on my pancake and looked at my mom with wide eyes. "Um no one just watching one of my teen drama shows." I said.
"Well one girl sounded like you." she said egging it on.
"That was me I was saying the lines with the girl. it was an older episode." I said looking down and stuffing my mouth with food.
"Oh okay." was all she said then began criticizing what Tatiana was wearing.
Louis's POV:
"What the fuck?" Harry asked as he answered the door shirtless his eyes full of sleep.
I pushed him back stepping inside his apartment the lucky bastard has his own place before me. "Well it's good to see you to." he said sarcastically closing the door.
"Yea whatever." I said throwing myself onto his couch.
"Seriously like what do you want?" he asked.
"Nothing just wanted to watch the match." I said lifting my feet on te table.
"Couldn't you go to Liam's or some one else's house?" he asked.
"Nope. why you expecting some one?"
"Harry? Who is it?" a small nasaly voice asked from the hall. She was standing in the hallway wearing Harry's shirt over her. Her hair was a mess and her make up was running and she made me disgusted just looking at her. "Who is that?" she said looking at me.
"Oh Harry didn't tell you." I said getting up.
"Tell me what?" She asked looking at Harry curiously as he watched me his green eyes blazing.
"I'm his boyfriend. or I guess I was." I said smiling as the girls face twisted into horror.
"Wait what?" She said.
"Oh honey, Harry's gay."
"I-I'm gonna go." she said grabbing her dress and heels from the couch and walked out of the apartment as fast as she could.
I couldn't hold it in, I busted out laughing as Harry glared at me. I couldn't help it but the look on the girls face was hilarious and the way she looked from Harry to me then to Harry again and then back to his bedroom I know she was trying to process everything.
"What the hell?" He said frustrated as he slumped on the couch.
"You have to admit that was pretty funny." I said ruffling his mop of hair.
"Not really..."he mumbled moving his head away from my hand.
"Oh c'mon! Don't be such a baby!" I groaned walking over to the kitchen.
"Have you ever stopped an thought maybe I actually did like her? that maybe I just didn't want to sleep around with her? Maybe I wanted to be something with her." he rambled on.
"Why when you are trying to fuck Ellie?" I snapped at him.
"Wait what?" he asked his voice cracking.
"You know what." I scoffed grabbing a can of beer from the fridge.
"I honestly have no idea what your talking about." Harry said running his fingers through his hair nervously.
"Really because I think you fucking know!" my voice raising.
"Lou what is wrong with you? why are you being like this?" he asked taking a step closer to me.
"Nothing I'm fucking fine." I said slamming the can of beer on the counter.
"You obviously arent." He said pestering on.
"I'm fucking fine. I don't know you are so fucking concerned. You have your shit I have mine." I groaned and oped the can having it foam all over my hand and pants,"Shit!" I shouted.
"Well that's interesting." Harry said trying not to laugh.
"This is shit." I said smacking the can off the counter having the beer spill onto the tile floor.
I walking through the alcohol leaving Harry watching me curiously as I walked out of his apartment. I don't know where I'm going but I know somehow I will end up by her. It's a Sunday she will be at home or at the park. I remember when she took me to the park the other day saying she wanted to just show me something and we ended up sitting there under a tree in the shade talking and relaxing.
"Louis have you ever loved anything?" she asked picking at the grass beside her.
"Love is a worthless feeling." I sighed looking down at her small finger just inches from mine.
"Have you ever thought you loved something?" she asked tucking a hair behind her ear.
"As I said love is worthless."
"Love is just a word until you put it into action." she said quietly.
"Why do you care so much about love anyways?"
"I don't know just a thought." she smiled shyly at the ground. "Just a thought." she repeated quietly.
"A dumb thought."
"Yea a dumb thought." she said softly looking away from me and towards the park.
I should have kept asking her about why she was thinking about love but she seemed so distant from me. Even though she was sitting next to me we seemed millions of miles apart and I can help but think that she wishes that it was true.
