I sit here and draw,
My body aching from the massacre last night. My phone goes off because of your poems,
I read them and my jaw drops.I love you,
Doesn't that count?I cried at the disaster that happened,
I wished to die then and there.I wished it would all go away,
That I never existed. Then it hit me,
I'm still here for a reason...For you.
I doubt this will matter,
But I must say it:I'm still happy because of you.
I'm still sane because of you.
I'm still myself because of you.
I'm still here for you.I am alive... because of YOU.
I love you.
I want you to know that I care.
That I am here.
Not for anyone, but for you.I don't want you to cry.
I don't want you to hurt.
I don't want you to feel pain.I want you to be happy.
I want you to know I am here.
I want you to know I will listen....
But will you?I'm still here for you.
