Poetic Excuses

I Can't

I can't care for more than one person,
Or the others get mad.

I can't do anything to keep people happy,
I always let them down.

I can't say I'm sorry,
I'm not strong enough....

I can't understand others,
I just can't.

I can't help everyone,
The others get jealous.

I can't gain courage,
That was ruined.

I can't gain strength,
My chances have been destroyed.

I can't keep my Best Friends close enough,
They still get mad.

I can't be good enough,
No matter how hard I try.

Lastly....

I can't see colors ever again....
It's gone... it's all gone...

Am I losing her?
Is she losing me?
Am I losing them?
Can I not understand?

No, I am keeping her.

She is keeping me....

I can't lose them. Not one.

I won't understand fully, but I will do my best....
