I Won't Go

I know what you're trying to do,
It won't work.

They're my friends and so are you,
Because of this- you are forgiven.

I won't just ditch them in belief that I don't belong,
Hopefully they understand me more than I know.

They did nothing wrong,
So why should I go?

I understand if they think I would want to go,
But I won't.

They are all I need,
Leaving them wouldn't help in any way.

I won't go.

All I need at school are those two,
Nothing more.

I walk through the halls,
My head tucked low.

With either of them by my side,
My courage will immediately grow.

With out them I would duck at every movement, whisper every word, suffer verbal pain, quit band, give up on dreams, run away to Michigan, and write no more.

They are a necessity for my survival, more than food, sleep and water. Without them, I would go. If I didn't have DrCasHolmes or lion_inferno, no one would remember my name, ask for help, or see my face.

I would be gone before I could grow.

No matter what...

I Won't Go.
