Your Storm

Two strikes.
Boom! Boom!
Like a heartbeat.
A bright light,
Followed by another crash.

Lightning dances in the distance,
Rain soon to come.
To leave a few knocks on your window
By night's end.

Pitter patter.
The rain calls.
A soft, cold breeze awaits.

Your window slides open,
Rain greets your face.

Your storm has come.

This is just a small poem I thought of while watching last night's storm. I love storms.
