Poetic Excuses

Would you?

Do you ever just sit in the dark,
Thinking about a conversation you recently had?

Do you ever get yelled at once and want to run away again,
But you can't because you're afraid you'll lose people you care about?

Do you ever wonder if they would run away with you, knowing you'd run away with them?

I do. All the time. But I never do it. I never ask if they would. I never tell them when I want to run away. They care about me, I know, but I still wonder if they would leave their lives to live one with me... I know one of them wouldn't, but would the other? If I asked, would you run away with me?
