Today at 3:39 pm June 16, 2016, Luckee turns a year old. He's still growing and getting stronger. About two days ago he tore off a vent that goes through our wall and connects to our dryer. Now there is a huge hole on our wall. He even breaks DOWN the door! I love him to death and have absolutely no idea how I'd survive without out him. Luckee earned his name after I saved his life:
On June 13, 2016, Luckee's siblings were born. We thought their Mother-Dog was finished but we were WRONG. So I left for two and a half days. I returned home on the 16th around 3pm. Their Mother-Dog was pacing and whimpering. I have had her for about 9 years and we grew up together so we were pretty close. She laid down in my lap and soon a little head popped out.(I shouldn't really say little since he was one of the biggest in his litter...) I had to help deliver him like I did the others since she was so old and this was her first litter. Once he was born he wasn't in his sac... he wasn't even breathing when he was born and his Mother-Dog didn't even want him. I had to do a bit of CPR, yes is said CPR. That DOES mean my mouth to his muzzle. I saved his life and he soon became one of the healthiest. A couple days later we noticed he had only one ear. I had given him the name, Luckee Dogg and I'll never forget the day he was born.
Ever since he could see and walk, he would follow me everywhere. I couldn't escape him. We've grown pretty close and he's pretty protective of me, just a couple days ago, he stopped my mother from striking me a third time. I'm glad he did so. I love Luckee with everything in my heart and would give up pretty much anything for him.Happy Birthday, Luckee Dogg.
