Drew smiled more amazingly than I'd ever seen him smile when I strolled up to him. Everyone sat down after that to hear the preacher speak. It was all set up perfect, with flowers placed perfectly and sashes thrown in exactly the right places. I still couldn't believe that Drew's mom had gotten our wedding at The Boathouse!

I saw my mother smile at me in the first row. I winked and looked out into the audience. I saw Dyan sitting with Vanessa, who waved at me. Francessca and Caroline were sitting in the second row. Francessca looked like she had tears in her eyes. She had always loved exaggerating things.

The preacher started speaking, but my gaze was kept on Drew's. I could barely even hear his speach over my the rapid beating of my heart. Lost in Drew's eyes, I giggled softly to myself as I thought about dreaming about that moment since seventh grade.

I was shook out of my daydreaming when I saw Drew mouth the words "You have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now" I laughed slightly and whispered "Same here"

Nothing could've been any more perfect than that moment.

"If anyone should object to this marriage, please speak now or forever hold your peace," the preacher spoke, scanning the audience. I  was praying and praying desperately that nothing would mess this up. I'd waited so long.

I put my head in my hands as the doors burst open with someone running down the aisle, followed by security guards. I reluctantly opened my eyes.

James.

"Naomi, this is your last chance," he yelled, "I'm not coming back for you anymore. I'm telling you, there's still something between us. I need to know how you feel, before it's too late"

I couldn't even yell at him about it anymore. He was messed up. I didn't even know how he could screw this up for me, too. I wished he would just leave me alone! I burst into tears and ran outside.

I sat down on the ground and started bawling into my hands. I couldn't beleive how he could do that to me. Vanessa ran out and sat down next to me. She stroked my hair.

"I'm so sorry, Naomi. James is crazy. I don't even know how he did that," she comforted. I sighed.

"Thanks, Vanessa. I'm just so fed up with him" She shook her head.

After a while, two security guards walked outside, each holding James by his shoulders and holding his hands behind his back. He saw me and begged the security guards to let him go just for a minute. They rolled their eyes and kept walking, carrying him to their police car. Vanessa patted my back.

Then, I heard helicopters overhead. Several news cars pulled up in the parking area and out hopped newscasters and cameramen, followed by picture-snapping paparazzi. The news casters all ran up to me at once. Outside of them, the paparazzi crowded around. Everyone was shoving microphones in my face and screaming questions at me.

"Naomi! Why aren't you at your wedding? Has something gone wrong with the seemingly perfect wedding? What's gone wrong? EVeryone thought that James character was going to object. Did he? Did Drew slap him? He was just seen being pulled into a police car" They were all asking questions at once, and I just shut my eyes and pushed them away. Vanessa helped by pushing them back, holding them off. She looked back at me and smiled.

"I'll take care of this. You just go in there and get married," she said, winking and pushing me towards the doors. I smiled and ran through the doors once again.

Everyone started clapping again as I walked down the aisle to Drew. He smiled in relief and whispered, "If that punk ever hurt you, I'd slap that fake tan right off of his skin!" I leaned in to kiss him, out of reflex, and he pulled away before I could. "Sorry, you'll have to wait," he teased. I giggled.
