Almost Kiss

I felt myself blush deeply as I jumped apart from Niall. I definitely wish that whoever is knocking on my door would have waited at least five more minutes.

“Yeah?” I called out, or well tried to. My voice came out soft. I was almost sure that whoever was at the door didn’t hear me. But they did.

“Can we talk?” I tensed up as Louis came into the room. He looked to the ground as he spoke.

I didn’t know if I was actually ready to be left in a room alone with Louis again after he just yelled at me. My eyes went to Niall’s then Louis, finally landing back to Niall’s. If he was here then maybe Louis wouldn’t yell at me.

Niall gently squeezed my hand before walking out, not before having a moment with Louis. Once the door shut I closed my eyes and waited for the yelling to begin again.

It didn’t though.

Louis came and sat down on the bed beside me. I froze up a little but told myself to relax.

“You’re afraid of me aren’t you?” His voice came out as a faint whisper. He hasn’t met my gaze yet.

I shook my head no before the question even registered in my mind. Was I afraid of Louis? Sure he yelled at me but I did deserve it to knock some sense into me.

“No.”

He raised his head and that’s when our eyes met. They were probably the same since it was obvious both of us had been crying.

“Why? I would be. What I said to you was out of line. I acted just like the people you were trying to get away from were.”

“Lou, what you said was out of line but I definitely needed to hear it.” I told him. He shook his head at my statement. Obviously that wasn’t what he wanted to hear.

“Still it was incredibly rude of me to call you stupid. You are far from it, if I am being honest.”

I smiled at him before wrapping him in a hug. He didn’t hug back at first but soon after he put his arms around me; returning it.

“You’re forgiven Lou. And no I’m not leaving you, any of you guys. I love you too damned much to go anywhere. So you all better be prepared to be around me for a while.”  I told him as I pulled away from him.

He smirked and muttered under his breath. All I caught from it was Niall’s name. I asked him to repeat himself but he just shook his head with a devious smile on his face.

“Louis.” I groaned out.  I didn’t like not knowing the inside joke.

“You know, I think of you as another sister. I guess whenever I heard about you wanting to go home it made me upset. I thought that you didn’t like us anymore. You haven’t been acting the same as before and I just thought that it was because of us.” He admitted sheepishly.

I shook my head at him signaling a no but that’s all I could really say. If I told him why I was acting strange he would probably go crazy on his fans. I guess I have to tell him, Liam, Zayn, and Harry sometime but I don’t think right now is a good time.

“Come on I think Liam ordered pizza for dinner.” He stood up off the bed and held his hand out for me. I smiled and held my hand up for him to pull me off the bed.

I was glad he didn’t really question me much farther about my behavior.

Both of us walked down stairs and then into the living area where everyone was sitting. Niall and Liam were practically bouncing in their seats when we came into view.

I walked over to where they were and sat down beside of Liam since it was the only available space left, other than the floor. Liam put his arm behind my shoulder and smiled at me.

“Everything okay?” He didn’t direct the question to either Louis or I but I answered.

“Yeah, everything’s worked out now.” I told him. He smiled but it didn’t meet his eyes. I looked to Niall to see what was up but he was looking at the ground like Louis was a few minutes before.

“Paul went to get our food. He should be getting back soon.” I nodded my head at him but was still looking at Niall.

Did he mention anything to Liam about our talk or the almost kiss?

Short little chapter but it actually let's you see how they apologized. (: anyway that was a double update and now I think I'll get back to writing. More to come soon!
