The boys had just opened up the show and were being led backstage to have photos done. I smiled, feeling proud of all the boys had accomplished. They truly did deserve all the awards they won and were going to win.
“That dress looks amazing on you.” I smiled, looking up at Zayn’s girlfriend Perrie. She didn’t ride with us because she had to come with her own band. I patted the seat next to me, wanting her to sit down. She took the seat Niall was previously sitting in, turning to me slightly.
“Thank you. You look amazing too.” I told her honestly. She laughed slightly, telling me thank you.
“I’m glad Niall brought you, you’re an amazing girl and I think Niall’s lucky to have you.” She said lowly as the announcer of the next award came on. I smiled at her, blushing at her complement.
There was a loud round of applause as the winner was announced. I clapped along, showing my respect to them. They accepted their awards as it went to the commercial break.
“I have to get back to my seat but I’m sure we will see each other tonight.” She said, standing up. I waved at her as she walked to her bands’ seat. I turned back to the front, watching as the host started speaking.
“Hey Nat.” Niall spoke, coming and sitting beside me. A smile made its way onto my face as I saw Niall.
“Hey.” I said, grabbing his hand with mine. We watched the show for a while before I noticed that it had only been Niall that came back. I waited to ask because they were announcing another winner. I smiled and clapped then waited for them to stop talking.
“Where are the others?” I asked quietly. Niall looked at me.
“Liam is sitting somewhere, Zayn is with Perrie, Louis, I’m sure, is somewhere with Liam, and Harry is with Ed Sheeran.” He spoke, pointing in the different direction they were in.
I stared at Harry sitting with Ed. Ed Sheeran is a reason that I am here. His quote is what kept me going before I met Niall. Niall must have noticed my staring as he leaned over and whispered in my ear.
“I’ll let you met him one day.” I looked up at him surprised. I would love to meet him.
“You know we don’t have to stay here. Would you like to go?” I gaped at him. We couldn’t just leave, could we? I mean they have already been given their awards right after they performed so it’s not like it’s mandatory for them to be here anymore.
“Sure.”

I grabbed Natalie’s hand, bringing her out of the restaurant we had just eaten in. We weren’t really into the big part of the city; we actually took a drive out into country side and were wanting to just eat at a normal restaurant.
I opened the back door for Nat and waited for her to get in before shutting then I went around to the other side and climbed.
The cab driver asked where to and I gave him the address to our beach house. He nodded his head and took off.
Silence filled the small car as we headed off. I moved over to the middle of the seat and pulled Natalie into me. I kissed her head, laying my cheek on it after.
“Natalie?” I said quietly, earning her attention. She hummed a response, letting me know she was listening. I exhaled deeply, knowing that this is the right time to ask her.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” I asked softly. She moved her head quickly, making me think I might have said the wrong thing. She gave me a small smile before nodding her head.
