-Niall

I took two pieces of pizza and went outside to sit on the porch. I guess I just needed this time to be alone and think about what Natalie just told, or well showed, me. The fresh cut skin will be forever imprinted in my brain.

“Niall?” A soft voice called out.

My head turned to see Natalie standing in the doorway, a plate in her hand and a frown upon her face. She sat down in the chair across from me, her plate sitting on the table in between us.

“Don’t be sad. It was my decision to do this to myself, a stupid one but I chose to do it.” Her eyes were cast downwards as she played with her fingers. Since it was a fairly small table I reached across the two plates and grabbed ahold of her hand to get her to stop and maybe to look at me.

“I’m not sad; disappointed, maybe, but not at you. I’m disappointed that our fans would do that to you. I know the lads girlfriends get hate, as do we, but I just didn’t want you getting it. It was stupid to think you wouldn’t just because you weren’t a girlfriend but I should have known that the fans would have jumped to conclusions and thought you were.”

She sighed and finally met my eyes. I couldn’t tell the emotion they held in them as she spoke.

“I really don’t know what to say other than we can’t control what they say. They are going to say something even if it’s wrong. I just need to not go read it or search for what they are saying.”

It was a somewhat comfortable silence we were left in, neither of us knew what to say that would make this situation any less tense. I finished my pizza somewhat faster than I would so I could get back to my room to think.

I stood up from the table and left Natalie sitting there eating. I didn’t leave her to be rude or anything like that I just need to figure something out.

-Normal

After Niall left and I took my plate back inside, I decided to go and wander the beach. As I grabbed the sliding glass door Liam stopped me. He had a notebook type thing in his hand as he looked out of breath.

“Yeah Liam?” I asked.

He checked over his shoulder to see if any of the other boys were around, when he noticed they weren’t he came closer to me.

“I just want to give you this.” He handed me a small notebook. The front was decorated in London type things and if you turned it around the back had stuff to do with New York City. “I remember you saying that you like to write your feelings down since it helps you stay in a better mind set, so I found this notebook in my bag. I’ve never used it and I thought it would help you.”

I smiled at him; he remembered what I told all the boys when I first joined the tour with them.  Immediately I gave him a hug.

“Thank you.” I said softly before pulling away from the hug. He thanked me with a smile on his face.

“I’m going to go down to the beach, I’ll be back here in a little bit.” I told him as I grabbed a pen off the coffee table in front of the couch. He nodded his head and told me to be back before it gets too late. I agreed then headed out the door and down to the white sandy beach.

I probably looked funny since I wasn’t wearing a swim suit but instead wearing shorts, converses, and t-shirt. Oh well. I sat down in the sand and opened the notebook; noticing that there were little designs of Big Ben and a taxi car on the ends of each side.
