“You like Natalie don’t you?”
I was taken aback by their comment. Natalie was a gorgeous girl but I wouldn’t say I liked her like that, I mean I have known her what maybe 3 days? I noticed the boys were staring at me awaiting my answer.
“I don’t like her, sure she’s a gorgeous girl but I don’t like her like that.” They all seemed a little bummed at my answer. I was going to ask them why they were bummed about it but was interrupted by screaming coming from upstairs.
Immediately I knew that Jake and Natalie’s conversation didn’t go well. All five of us ran to the room they went into. Liam opened the door to her room. The first thing I noticed was the walls. They were green but the one right beside her bed had a quote on it. I ran my eyes over it a few times before completely understanding what it was about. She’s a lonely girl on the inside and she just needs somebody.
Is that why the boys were wondering if I fancied her? I guess I kind of lied a little, she’s really beautiful and when she fell off the ledge on the bridge I felt like my heart broke seeing her fall into the black water and when I pulled her out and she wasn’t responsive I freaked out.
Do I have feelings for her?
I snapped out of my babble and looked to the door on the other side of the room. Jake was pounding on it shouting at Natalie not to do it. I bolted to his side.
“Mate what’s she doing?” Liam asked. Jake turned and realized we were there. His eyes were full of fear and unshed tears. He shook his head and crumpled to the floor. His head in his hands as sobs came from his lips.
“Get her to open the door or else it won’t be good.” He choked out. We all did as we were told.
“Natalie please we’re going to break the door down if you don’t open it.” There was no answer as Louis finished yelling through the door. We all looked at each other and nodded. Jake moved out of our way as Zayn and Liam it the door with their shoulders. The door buckled a little but did nothing else. They hit their shoulders on it one more time before it actually cracked and we could get in to unlock it.
When the door opened I was scared at the sight. Everything seemed to stop as I surprised myself by saying.
“Don’t do that, you’re too beautiful to do that.”
