-Natalie

I woke up the next morning sore and in pain. If I twisted one way to try and get comfortable I would be met with a stabbing pain in my back and chest.  Let’s not even mention the fact that every time I took in a breath it burned my throat and lungs. This day has just started and I already wished it was over.

Slowly, I got out of my bed and looked around only to see that I wasn’t in my bed or even in my room. I tried to remember why I was here but came up with nothing; now that I think about it I can’t really remember last night at all.

Making my way out of whoever’s room I was in I walked downstairs. A few of the boys were scattered around the living room as I passed through to go into the kitchen to get some water.

“Hey Natalie.” A voice sounded from behind me, almost making me drop the glass that was in my hand. I swiveled around to face Liam sitting at the table with some toast sitting on a plate in front of him.

“Holy-.” That was the only word I could get out. When I said that moving was painfully I guess I didn’t think that talking would hurt a lot worse.

“Are you okay?” He asked concerned. I shook my head. I could hear him sigh and then proceed to push his chair out and stand up.

“Do you want some Ibuprofen?” He can to a cabinet beside me and pulled out a bottle. My eyes went wide as I shook my head signaling a no. He raised his eyebrows at me.

I took the notepad, along with the pen, which was beside the telephone and started writing.

I’m allergic to Ibuprofen, I can only have Tylenol.

I gave him the notepad and watched as he nodded his head. He put the bottle back into the cabinet and started searching for something I can take.

“I’m sorry Nat but that’s the only thing we have. I can ring Paul and see if he can go buy some Tylenol.” His said sounding like he was feeling guilty about not having it. I sent him a warm smile and a nod. He smiled back at me before he went back and finished eating his toast.

I envied him for being able to eat; if I even try to eat I would probably end up not being able to swallow it because of it being too painful. Instead of watching him eat I went back to my room to try and figure out what had happened last night.

As I fell back on my bed a little memory flashed through my head. It was of Louis hiding behind a bush. The memory only lasted for a second and I was pretty sure it wasn’t something that I could have dreamed about.

Following my gut I climbed back out of bed and walked down the hall until I came face to face with Lou’s door. I leaned against it and heard the sound of snoring, so instead of knocking I lightly opened the door and peaked in.

What I saw almost made me scream and if it hadn’t been for my throat hurting I probably would have.

I closed the door and slowly back against the wall as more of last night came in to focus.

“Okay Louis, I dare you to go outside and hide behind a bush. The first person that comes by is the one you have to scare.” Zayn said as he leaned forward. All eyes were on him as he explained the dare to Louis.

“Easy.” Lou grinned. Zayn held up his finger interrupting Louis from continuing.

“But you have to do it naked.” There was the kicker in this dare. Louis just laughed as a light blush covered Delilah’s face from Louis starting to undress right in front of us all.

“Uh Lou, I really don’t think Nat and Delilah are comfortable with seeing you naked.” Niall interfered as Lou pulled down his skinny jeans.

At that everything seemed to get jumbled again. I shook my head trying to get any more information to come out.

“Natalie?” A voice at the end of the hall snapped me from my thoughts. My head rose as I found Liam standing at the top of the stairs.

“Paul’s got some Tylenol downstairs.” I nodded my head as to thank him.

“Why are you in the hallway sitting in front of Louis’ door?” He asked as he came forward and helped me up. My frame stiffened as he mentioned Louis. I pointed to the door and watched as Liam opened the door slightly. He saw the same thing I did before he shut the door.

“Oh, well that’ll be a bit embarrassing here later.” I nodded my head at him.

His eyes were wide like mine had been. It wasn’t really a scary thing to see but I’m sure that Louis would have a lot of explaining to do in a few hours.

Liam and I walked downstairs and found Paul and Harry standing in the living room. A grim line was on Paul’s forehead as he saw us come down the stairs.

“Nat, you need to tell us what you’re allergic to. If one of these boys would have given you Ibuprofen then it could have possibly killed you. Come with me into the kitchen so I can get a list of things you are allergic to.”

I nodded my head slightly, afraid that I was in trouble for not telling them sooner.

“Come on, I’ve even got something to help with your throat.” He said in a nicer tone. It wasn’t that he was mean it was that he wanted to be affirmative and stern to know that he isn’t kidding around, unless the boys are involved then he just turns into a giant teddy bear.

I nodded my head and followed him into the kitchen.
