Laura and Luke[in editing]

I strongly disagreed with the fact that I was forced to sit in a boring maths class. When I look outside the window to see my ex, Luke Brooks (better known from the YouTube group the Janoskians) skipping class.

"Oi Laura" Charlotte, my sister said snapping me out of my daydream

"Uh yeah" I looked up

"Can you help me with this or not?" Char asked pointing at her work, which I'm guessing was algebra from all the letters and random numbers sprawled around her text book

"Just ask the teacher" shrugging I went back to looking out the window.

That's sort of how my life has been since the break up, you see. I constantly felt empty and depressed, although I made the decision and I was regretting it, but it was for the best. I haven't been paying any attention to what's really been happening at school or really just anywhere. Concentrating is too hard for me & I do not know what I should do anymore.

"Laura, what's wrong?" mrs sanders said

"Nothing miss, can I go to the bathroom?" I asked

"Yes Laura you may, but don't be too long" Mrs Sanders replied

I got up out of my seat and left the room heading towards the bathroom. After going, I washed my hands and returned to class

"Now do your work Laura" mrs sanders said the second I walked back inside.

I sat back in my chair still not doing any work. I just didn't have the energy anymore. When maths finally ended after a very long 30 minutes it was recess.

I was walking through the corridor with my friends Lucy, rose, Charlotte and grace we saw Luke making out with some girl against the wall.

"Fucking idiots" I muttered as I walked passed Luke and the girl who was my cousin Thalia

"What'd you say?" Luke said turning to me

"You're a fucking idiot" I spat

"Thanks" Luke said going back to kissing Thalia

"Oh and Thalia never thought you were that low, slut" I said

"ALRIGHT THATS ENOUGH!Laura and Luke my office now" Principal waters said

"I didn't do anything wrong" I said

We walked into Waters office where he started telling us off.

"The pair of you sort out your issues because I'm sick of dealing with you and your small problems" Principal waters said.

Well it was true we had been called into his office quite a few times over the last few weeks.

"Can I leave now? I can barley tolerate being in the same room as this idiot he makes sick" I said getting up from the chair and leaving

It was now that I had to go to English, great I had to deal with Thalia

I walked into class and apologized for being late to mr de'fino and taken my seat

"So you're not going to apologise you are such a..." Thalia began whispering in my ear

"Shut up, you're meant to be my cousin but you go and start making out with my ex in the corridor" I said as everyone turned and looked at Thalia and me

"Alright Laura and Thalia outside now" Mr De'fino said

I walked outside and I yet again saw Luke kissing another, had he become some sort of player? What a jerk, but more importantly how did he manage to get more than one girl daily when he barely could get me? And yes I'm aware that I sound like a snob.

"You mustn't mean a lot to him" I smirked at Thalia who had a face like a slapped bitch it was quite funny

When Mr De'fino came outside he started telling us off. I then pointed out that Luke was meant to be in our class and he was making out with some girl

"Luke Brooks get into this class and as for you two, one of you move seats" mr de'fino said

"Sure I'll move" Thalia said

When we got in class Thalia picked up her books and was moved by mr de'fino next to Zac Hills, the nerd and Lucy was moved next to me

"Sir this isn't fair" Thalia said arms folded and a pouty face

"Well I think it is sir" I replied

"Just do your work girls" De'fino replied

I started doing my work and then the door opened it was Mr Waters of course

"Can I please have Laura, Charlotte and Tahan Stuart please?" waters said.

"Laura and Charlotte your mother is in the office and Thalia you are to go home with them" Waters said

"Sure, okay and Mmm" We replied

"And Laura I've talked to your mum about this morning" waters said

Shit I was in trouble my mum isn't going to be pleased

I packed my bag and walked with Char to the office leaving Thalia to walk on her own because we both didn't like her

"Laura, you're grounded" my mum said without giving me a chance to justify myself as we walked in the office

It was a silent and awkward car trip home but when we got there I just ran straight up the stairs into my bedroom locking the door behind me.

"Laura get down here now, we have to talk" My mum said, stupid bitch.

"No just leave me alone!" I shouted

I laid on my bed where it didn't take me long to just fall asleep, due to the lack of sleep I'd had recently.

I woke up to someone knocking on my door

"Go away" I said sitting up

"Laura, open the door now" Dad said so I got up and opened the door

"Why are you giving our surname a bad reputation?" dad asked

"Maybe Thalia is, did you hear about her making out with Luke in the middle of the corridor? No I didn't think so" I replied

"Why have I had your English teacher email me saying you're failing?" dad said

"Because I don't have the energy to be there anymore! I HATE SCHOOL AND I HATE YOU ALWAYS THINKING I'M THE GUIILTY ONE!" I shouted

"Laura" dad said as I was now in tears

"I'm just sick of everyone please can you leave me alone" I said dad walked out, listening for the first time

I locked my door as soon as he left and walked back to my bed before falling asleep again.
