Laura and Luke[in editing]

Chapter 40

I'd been in the new ward for a week and I hated it. I was forced to eat and watched under the eye of Doctor Leigh.

Luke visited everyday and checked up on me. Charlotte and Beau also visited once or twice along with Gina, while Jai and mum didn't bother

"Good morning Laura" Nick, one of my other doctors said

"Morning, Nick" I replied as he helped me out of bed and into the wheelchair where everyone with problems like my own were sitting outside and I was about to join them in the activities room

"Sleep well?" nick asked

"Not sure" I replied as I came to a stop at a table where there were two other girls; Vanessa and Lucy they were both like me

"Hi Laura" Vanessa said as Nick walked away

"Hello, what are we doing?" I asked

"Who knows, but don't you have an appointment for your back?" Lucy asked

"Not sure I think Luke was coming in to get me whenever my appointment was" I replied

"Well speaking of Luke" a masculine voice said from behind me before giving me a kiss on the cheek

"Hey Laura, ready to go?" Luke asked.

"Yeah" I replied as Luke wheeled me into the elevator and down the hospital corridor into the specialist unit.

"Laura, are you ready?" Karen my specialist asked

"Um yeah" I replied with a smile as Luke taken me inside her room and she shut the door behind us, Luke taking a seat next to me

"Now how has your back been feeling?" Karen asked

"A bit sore, but also numb and tingling" I replied

"Okay, I need to have a look if that's okay with you Laura" Karen said as I sat forward carefully whilst Karen observed my back and pressed in certain areas

"How long can you stay?" I asked Luke as we sat outside on the grass

"Not sure maybe another hour" Luke replied as he gave me a hug

"I love you" I said

"I love you too Laura" Luke replied

"Laura, you must return inside it's dinner time in your ward" Leigh said

"Come on Leigh I'm fine outside relaxing with Luke" I said

"Laura, we have to go back inside so you can eat" Luke said getting up and helping me into my wheel chair as I didn't argue back or say anything else.

"Laura, it's not that bad. if you improve and eat your meals they'll release you from here and you'll be able to leave" Luke said as he pushed me inside the hospital

"Fine Luke" I said as we approached the elevator and went up to the third floor where I was

Everyone was sitting around the tables eating and talking amongst themselves.

"Want me to stay?" Luke asked

"Yeah, can we eat in my room?" I asked

"Sure, otherwise we'll sit out in the hall if we get told off" Luke replied as Luke grabbed me a meal and we went off to my room

"It's loud out there" I said

"Yeah too noisy, want me to come visit tomorrow?" Luke asked

"If it's not a hassle, then yeah" I replied as I taken a bite into my sandwich

"Cool" Luke said

LUKES POV

I didn't know how to tell her, that the boys and myself were off to L.A for our fans to make music and try become something in this world

"Laura" I said

"Yeah" she replied as she looked up eating with a smile

"You're beautiful" I said as I smiled, I couldn't bring myself to tell her. I didn't want to destroy her or hurt her any more then what I already had.
