Leaving

I woke up in a mess, I felt depressed and horrified.

I got up checking the time to see it was 6:30, I couldn't sleep I was dead, I had no emotions left

I hopped back in bed before trying to fall back asleep.

As I woke up for a second time my mood hadn't changed, still upset and I felt sick

I hopped out of bed and made my way downstairs where Jai and Charlotte were sitting together on the couch watching television.

I continued walking until I got to the kitchen before grabbing a drink of water and then going back up to my bedroom.

I sat on my floor leaning against my bed before bursting into tears.

It was my fault again. Luke and me were over again all because of me.

Getting up from the floor I made my way back downstairs only this time to see the Brooks family with Charlotte and mum.

"Darling want to come sit with us?" mum asked

"No" I replied before running back upstairs and shutting my door.

I got changed into jogging shorts, Adidas singlets and my Nike purple runners before tying my hair up and grabbing my phone and earphones.

I put my earphones in as I went downstairs so I didn't have to listen to anyone.

Walking out the house my music was turned up as high as it could go before jogging out my driveway and down the streets.

I was sitting under a tree crying, I needed to clear my head but I couldn't because all I could think about was Luke.

I hopped up and began jogging again so I didn't start crying again.

Approaching the house I didn't know whether I wanted to go back in because the Brooks' car was still in the drive.

I walked in the door before ignoring everyone and going to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water and going up to my bedroom but I didn't shut my door so I could hear what everyone was talking about.

"If she keeps jogging and only drinking water there's going to be nothing left of her" mum said

"There's nothing of her now, you can see where her joints are." Charlotte said

"She's just upset with herself and she doesn't care about herself as much anymore, she doesn't eat much and exercises like crazy." Luke said

"She looks anorexic" Charlotte said

"Why is she so upset anyways?" mum asked

"It's nothing, don't worry about it" Luke replied as I shut my door, falling to the floor and bursting into tears.

Trying to pick myself off of the ground I made my way into my wardrobe before getting leggings and a long sleeved white shirt.

I went into my bathroom and turned on the water to the shower letting it heat up I hopped in.

Laying on my bed I tried falling back asleep but there was a knock at my door.

"Fuck off" I said as the door opened to reveal Luke

"Luke fuck off" I said again as I raised my voice

"Laura don't tell me to fuck off" Luke said

"Well I did, leave" I said

"What's wrong?" Luke asked

"You, when my mother asked what was wrong with me you replied with it's nothing, but it's you. Luke it's like you're trying to make me miserable and then hearing all you down there talking about my weight and how skinny I am. It's my life I can do what I want" I replied as I burst into tears

"I'm not the reason for you to of gotten so skinny Laura, don't give me that" Luke said as both our tempers had rised

"You can't go talking about my weight with others, that's personal. you can't fucking go around talking about how much I eat and drink either. Like I've already said Luke" I said "ITS MY LIFE!" I shouted

"WELL IF ITS YOUR LIFE LAURA, WHY ARE YOU FUCKING IT UP?" Luke shouted back

"BECAUSE NO ONE FUCKING CARES, YOURE MY BOYFRIEND AND ALL WE DO IS ARGUE. WE CANT BE TOGETHER WITHOUT ARGUING, SO FUCK OFF AND GET AWAY FROM ME YOU SCUM!" I shouted as mum and Gina came into the room

"BOTH OF YOU DOWNSTAIRS" Mum shouted as I shoved passed Luke before elbowing him and continuing downstairs into the living room

"DONT FUCKING ELBOW ME LAURA" Luke shouted as I taken a seat on my beanbag while Jai and Charlotte sat on an armchair together looking at me like I was a bitch, beau looking at me as if he felt sorry for me

"Why do I even have to be here?" I asked as Gina, Luke and mum came back in the room taking a seat on the couch

"Because we need to sort through all your issues" mum replied

"My issues" I said

"try everyone's issues because that's what you turn it into mum, you're a horrible parent. If you ever knew about how many times I cry or feel depressed then you might know more about me. But that'll never happen because you only care about yourself, you're a stupid pathetic lady who should never of had kids, you're pathetic bitch that's up herself. Why do you think you and dad split?" I said

"Laura don't talk to me like that an if you want to why don't you pack your bags and leave" mum said

"Why not, it's obvious none of you care enough" I said

"You're a spoilt rotten" mum said before stopping

"A spoilt rotten what mum? a spoilt rotten bitch perhaps? I don't care enough about you for your comment to mean something" I said before getting up and going upstairs to pack my belongings

I emptied my wardrobe into two luggage bags, I packed my bathroom up into a toiletry bag and my most valued items in my bedroom packed amongst my stuff.

I grabbed my car keys, phone and purse before taking my luggage downstairs and out to the car, I then put my house keys on the table near door before leaving.

I wasn't going to say goodbye to them because none of them cared, mum, Charlotte, Luke, Gina, Beau or Jai not one of them.

I didn't know where I was going I was just getting away from Coburg
