Dinner

I made my way out the backyard and taken a seat next to Charlotte

"Beautiful isn't it?" Charlotte said as she looked up to the blue sky.

"Yeah, life is" I replied

"Hey" Luke said as he taken a seat next to me

"We're lucky to live the way we do" Charlotte said

"We're blessed to be here, think about all the kids that didn't make it past five" I replied

"I love you" Luke said as he hugged me

"I love you too Luke" I replied as I rested my head on his shoulder

GINAS POV

"They all look so beautiful together" Maggie said

"They are" I replied

"Hey mum" Beau said as he gave me a hug

"Hey babe" I replied

"Beau darling could you get those four to come inside?" Maggie asked

"Yeah sure Mags" Beau replied going outside and sitting with them

LAURAS POV

"Hey our mothers want us to go inside" Beau said taking a seat with us

"Well why are you sitting down?" Luke asked

"Because I wanted to spend time with you all" beau replied

"Don't get started without me" Skip said taking a seat

"We weren't starting anything Daniel" Charlotte replied

"Oh well what are we talking about?" Skip asked

"Nothing really" I replied

"I'm going inside" Charlotte stated as she got up and went inside.

"Is she okay?" Beau asked

"Yeah, I think she's just a bit stressed about the baby" I replied

"Dinners ready" Mum called from the back door

"Coming" we all replied and went inside

"Hey James" I said as I hugged James to see Luke thinking about something

"Hey Laura" James replied

"I'll talk to you in a couple of minutes I need to speak with Luke" I said as I walked over to Luke.

"Luke what's up?" I asked

"Nothing everything's fine" Luke replied as his facial expression changed to having a smile

"Well what are you thinking about?" I asked

"Just stuff Laura" Luke replied

"Alright well dinner's ready so we should go sit with everyone" I stated as I held Luke's hand trailing him into the dining room behind me

"Laura sit down darling" mum said as I listened to her instructions by taking a seat next to Beau

We said Grace before we dug into our perfect roast lamb meal

"Thanks Mrs Stuart dinner was perfect" James said as he put his knife and fork on his plate

"That's okay James but call me Maggy" mum replied

"Mags dinner was great thanks" Beau said

"Thanks mum" Charlotte and myself said in sync

"Thanks Maggie" Jai and Luke said

"You're all welcome you don't need to keep saying thanks" mum said to us

"Sorry" we all replied in sync as the doorbell rang

I got up to answer it, when I opened the door I saw Adam and Angela standing there

"Don't get the party started without us" Adam said as he gave me a hug

"Adam what are you doing here?" I asked overwhelmed

"We came for a holiday, did mum keep it a secret?" Adam asked

"Yeah but come on in" I replied

"Hello Laura" Angela said as she gave me a hug

"Hey ang" I replied

"OH MY GOD ADAM!" Charlotte shouted as she got up from the table and quickly hugged him

"Be careful char, you're carrying a baby" Adam said

"I know I'm not that dumb why do you think I didn't push you over" Charlotte replied

"Laura, Charlotte do you even remember why these two would be here?" mum asked

"No..." we replied as we were confused

"They're getting married this weekend" mum said

"Oh shit we forgot" I said

"No really?" Adam said sarcastically

As Luke and myself laid on the couch watching a movie together Charlotte and Jai were smiling and laughing at each other the whole time

"I feel so left out" Beau said as he sat on the floor

"Beau you'll find a guy eventually" I said joking

"Geez thanks Laura" Beau replied

"Don't worry Beau your perfect girl will come into your life soon" I said

"I wish" Beau replied

It must've really upset beau that he didn't have a girlfriend of his own to do all the couple things that Luke and myself did.
