Chapter 53

I wasn't a single parent just yet, but I knew I would be in two damn weeks. All I knew was I wish the time would go slowly, I missed Luke so much and he was great for the twins.

I was finally napping whilst Luke taken care of the babies, something I'd dearly missed, sleeping.

Being a mother really takes away sleep, your pattern is screwed up and you still have to go about each day like you'd had at least eight hours rest, there was no other option.

I had no clue how Luke was coping, he didn't get mad once especially while he continued to get up to the twins as Logan cried at 2:30 this morning.

As I emerged from my comatose position Luke cradled Madeline in his arms whilst he had Logan next to him in the high other arm chair

I laid with my eyes closed after giving a quick glance and listening to Luke because he was saying quiet things to both of the twins

"How's your day been boy?" Luke asked presumably to Logan

"Your mums the best" Luke said

"I just wish I could stay here, and watch you grow up a half normal life but instead I have to go back to L.A the one place across the world that your terrific mum doesn't want to move to" Luke said as I pretended to wake up, stretching, yauning and rubbing my eyes before opening them

"What are you doing?" I asked as I chuckled

"What, I wanted to sit Logan down and have a proper conversation with him and I wanted to have Madeline influence us with her intelligent thoughts" Luke replied

"Your weird, want something to eat?" I asked

"I guess" he responded as I grabbed an apple each from the fridge, handing one to Luke

"Thanks" Luke said

"Anytime" I said as I sat back down on the couch and taken a bite into my apple

Checking my phone, 2 missed calls both from Beau, what'd he want? I mean I haven't talked to him in months, just after I found out I was pregnant with the twins and I was in L.A

"Luke why would Beau be calling me after all this time?" I asked

"Not sure, I haven't talked to him since I came over from L.A" Luke replied

"I guess I should give him a call" I said as I pressed Beaus name and waited for an answer but of course it went through to voicemail!

Hello :), sorry for an extremely short chapter but it's a fill in and I'm updating three days in a row, I kept my promise haha
