Boredom strikes again

Another week had passed, I was still in hospital, and Luke had been calling and checking on me even though I still hadn't told him I was here. Mum had gone over to Los Angeles a few days ago, maybe she said something. Tara had been hanging around with me whilst we were at the hospital. Annie, my nurse said that I was being released next week so that's really all I could hope for.

"So what'd you say your boyfriends name was?" Tara asked as we played Uno

"Luke" I replied

"Why hasn't he visited you?" Tara asked

"Because he is in L.A and I haven't told him that I'm back in hospital" I replied

"Why? if he's your boyfriend shouldn't he be here with you, looking after ya" Tara said

"I'm going to go to my room, I'll see you later" I said as I got up and walked to my room

"Laura, dinner time" Annie said as she came with my tray

"I'm not hungry, I'm really tired" I said

"Laura you have to eat, especially if you want to go home" Annie said as I reluctantly taken the tray

"I'll be in to check on you in ten minutes, and then you have your therapy session with Helen at 6:30" Annie said as she walked out the room

Being classed as anorexic annoys me because I'm not, yeah I'm thin it's because I exercise and eat a small diet, but come on anorexic is too far.

"Alright hello Laura, sorry for a late appointment" Helen said as I sat down on the black leather couch

"Hi" I mumbled as I began looking at my hands

"Now how's everything going?" she asked

"Does it matter, I just want to go home" I replied

"Well from what your doctors and nurses have said, you seem to be almost ready to go home" Helen said

"Well can you sign off and let me go?" I asked

"I could but I haven't checked your weight or haven't asked you everything I have too" She replied

"I just want to go home, I feel fine, I've gained the weight you have wanted me too and most importantly I want to leave" I stated

"Well Laura, for you information I think you're fine to go home but who is there to look after you?" Helen asked

"My boyfriends mother Gina" I replied

"So she will come pick you up and sign you out?" Helen questioned

"Yes, if you let me call her I will get Gina to come get me so I can leave" I replied

"Alright then, we'll go make the call" Helen said as we got up and went to the hall before calling Gina

"Hello" her voice said

"Hey Gina, it's Laura. I was calling to say I'm allowed to come home it's just I need a parental guardian" I said

"That's great news darling, I'll be at the hospital in about 40 minutes" Gina said

"Alright see you then" I said as I hung up

"All taken care of, I'm going home" I said

"That's nice Laura, go pack your belongings and then Gina should be here" Helen said as I walked off down toward my room.

"Darling I'm glad to see you again" Gina said as she hugged me

"It's great to see you to Gina, but you're making it hard for me to breath" I replied as she loosened her hug
