Home time

It was Sunday and I was boarding the plane back to Melbourne

I hopped into my seat in economy row 14 seat 42 to have a very familiar face take a seat next to me

"Fancy seeing you here" I said as jake taken a seat next to me

"It's like old times" Jake joked making me laugh

"Want to help film the take off?" I asked handing him the camera because I didn't have the window seat this time

"Yeah sure" Jake replied taking the camera and videoing the whole trip from start to finish and everything in between. it was perfect we talked the whole time too

"What's your number?" I found myself asking

"I'll add myself to your contacts Jake replied taking my phone

"Alright" I said taking my camera and still filming

"Here you add yours" Jake said handing me his phone

I added mine and we gave each other's phones back whilst I gave Jake back my camera so he could film the landing

I got off the plane taking my camera and getting my luggage to see no one was waiting for me I guess I forgot to tell them I changed my flight to early morning.

I got a taxi back home paid the driver and made my way to the front door

I went to open it when I bumped into someone, Jai.

"Excuse me" I said pushing past him coming inside

"whatever" Jai said

"I don't know what your fucking problem is but you're treading on thin ice here" I said just leaving Jai to think

"LAURA?" Luke shouted from upstairs

"Yeah" I said looking up at him as he came running down the stairs and picking me up hugging me

"What's wrong?" Luke asked putting me down

"I want him gone" I whispered in Luke's ear

"I'll try okay Laura" Luke replied

"Okay" I said

"LAURA?!" Beau and Charlotte said in sync as the rushed over from the kitchen and tackled me to the ground

"Okay okay get off me" I replied

"Sorry" They both replied

"It's fine now help me up" I said holding my hands up

"How was your flight?" Charlotte asked

"Great on the way to Sydney I met this kid named Jake where we talked the whole way and we were also next to each other on the way back" I replied

"Oh was he cute?" Charlotte asked even though Jai was standing at least 3 meters away

"You decide that yourself" I said handing Charlotte a photo of us that I'd taken while on the flight back from Sydney

"Oh his hot" Charlotte said

"I'm in the room Char" Jai said walking over to us. I taken my phone from Charlottes hand and gave Jai a death stare before walking off upstairs

"Good one" Luke said a I made my way to the top of the stairs

"I'm not deaf I can hear you know" I walking into my bedroom before sitting out on my small balcony

I just sat out there thinking before having someone join me outside I didn't even bother taking notice who they were I just kept sitting there on the pavement thinking

"Laura" Jai said

"What?!" I said immediately turning my head to face him

"I don't know how it happened okay" Jai said trying to defend himself

"Yeah it happens when 2 people have sex and aren't careful you twit" I said rudely

"But we used protection every time which is why we don't know what happened" Jai admitted

"It still happened and now the pair of you have the consequences" I said getting up from the balcony and walking inside into my bathroom where I locked the door and sat against it

"Laura?" Jai said from the other side of the door

"FUCK OFF" I shouted

"Alright" Jai said walking off

I began crying why did this have to affect me so much? I really did care about the pair of them which is why I'm so bitter angry at the moment

"LAURA ASS DOWNSTAIRS NOW" Gina shouted

"NO LET ME BE" I shouted back

"LAURA" Gina shouted in a stern voice

I opened the door and made my way downstairs. When I got downstairs everyone was seated at the dining room table and no one was really pleased to see me take a seat I don't think well maybe except Luke but I wasn't too sure

"What" I said taking a seat.

"You and Jai need to sort yourselves out judging you'll have a connection in one way or another throughout your lives" Gina said

"Well I don't want anything to do with either Jai or Charlottes mistake" I said before making Charlotte burst into tears

"Never thought you were that careless about your own family Laura" Luke said

"Why should I help them if they created this situation?" I said getting up from the table and going upstairs

I got changed into my gym gear and grabbed my car keys deciding I'd go workout to release my anger.
