Jackunzel week 2016 part 2!

"Hello, and welcome to The Hollywood Scene!" Alya said, smiling brightly at the camera. "I'm your host, Alya Cesaire, and joining us today in the studio are none other than Jackson Overland and Hiccup Haddock, from the cast of 'Betrothal'."

The camera panned over to show Jack and Hiccup sitting on the sofa beside Alya's armchair, Jack making his signature smirk at the camera.

"So, boys, it's your first time on the show, what do you think about it so far?" Alya asked.

"Well, we're very honoured to be here," Hiccup replied with a smile. "My mom is a huge fan of this show, and growing up, I used to watch this show with her all the time."

"Oh, wow, I bet she'd be very proud to hear that you're going to be on the show!"

"Yeah, I kept it a secret from her, so I can't wait to see how she reacts to seeing her son on television when this episode airs." Hiccup laughed.

Liar. Jack thought as he glanced at him. He knew for a fact that Hiccup Haddock's childhood had been with his mother out of the picture. Heck, Hiccup never even met his mother.

But still, he smiled and laughed along with them. "What about you, Jack?" Alya asked. "Thoughts on being on the show?"

"Well, like Hic here said," Jack said, clapping a hand on Hiccup's shoulder, smiling brightly at Alya when he felt him stiffen ever so slightly. "We are very honoured to be here. It is every actor's dream to land an interview on this show, after all."

"Yes, well," Alya glanced at her cards. "I must congratulate you on the unexpected success of 'Betrothal'. Viewers have been comparing it to the likes of 'The Vampire Diaries' and other hit series ever since it premiered. When you decided to sign on to film, did you ever think that it would have become so popular?"

"Well, to be honest," Jack said. "Since we were all rookie actors, and for some of us it was our first big gig, so no, we never thought that it would suddenly skyrocket us to fame."

"Well, I think it had plenty to do with your chemistry with your partners- on and off-screen." She smirked at them. "Anything to say about them?"

Hiccup laughed. "Oh, plenty." You have no idea. "Like how Meri loves eating those pastries in between takes so much that they had to call in extra supplies to continue filming," He said, grinning as Alya laughed. "She has a really huge thing for sweets."

Jack bit his lips, trying to hold back a sneer. Merida was so going to kill him later, he knew she absolutely hated sweets, she was more of a spicy food kind of gal. And now that Hic had mentioned that she absolutely loved sweets, how was she going to deal with the fans who would probably be buying truckloads of sweets for her now?

"Oh, Jack looks like he has something to say?" Alya noted, looking at Jack, who blinked back at her. "What's Rapunzel's favourite food, perhaps?" Alya prompted.

"Smores pies." Jack replied instantly. He froze, surprised by how easily that had slid off his tongue. Even Hiccup glanced at him, slight surprise in his eyes.

"Oh, smores pies! Those are delicious." Alya agreed enthusiastically, glancing at her cards. "Okay, next question: you have been dating your partners for a while now, any particularly memorable dates?" She asked. "Jack?"

Jack put on a thoughtful expression, pretending to be thinking about it. "Let's see..." Dates? The only dates they'd gone on were the ones they'd deliberately gotten caught on. "Um, when we went to that theme park, and-"

"Let me guess, the ferris wheel kiss?" Alya smirked.

Jack paused. He had been about to say that, but now that he thought about it... "No, not that part." He said slowly. "Earlier... when we were watching the sunset, we were sitting on a nice pink bench at the edge of the park. We were eating some roasted sweet potatoes,"

-And she looked so cute, blowing the hot potato. So pretty siting there, in the sun's rays, almost like an angel-

"And they smelled and tasted really good." He finished with a sheepish laugh.

He could barely focus on Alya's laughter and exasperated comments about how boys always seemed to be thinking about food- he was a bit distracted by the sound of his beating heart.

R: interview over?

J: why
R: I'm hungry. North is nagging us to go out on a date.

"Texting your girlfriend again I see." Hiccup called from the other side of the room.

"She's not my girlfriend." Jack rolled his eyes, trying to quash the fluttery feelings in his stomach.

Hiccuo snorted. "Not buying it. If you really do end up actually dating though, I bet North would be ecstatic." He growled at his ringing phone. "Speak of the devil." He muttered. "See you for filming next week." He waved, walking off.

"Sure, yeah." Jack said absently, glancing at his phone.

R: hey, I know this cute desserts bar that just opened.

"Boyfriend..." Jack snorted, tucking his phone in his pocket. "Ah, you shouldn't say stuff like that if you don't mean it..." he sighed, walking out.
