Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third realised, on the day he met Jack Frost, at the very moment he laid eyes on his face - that there was no way he could ever say again, with complete confidence, that he was straight.
The first thought that had popped in his mind when he first saw him was: it should be illegal for someone to look that good. Based on the number of gaping girls and boys Jack left in his wake as he walked down the hallway, it didn't look like Hic was the only one thinking that. He looked really good in blue, he remembered - he also remembered thinking, for a brief moment, that he would probably look even better without it, but he had chased that thought away quickly before he could really think about just what he was thinking of. Because Jack Frost just had that effect on people: he made people stop and stare, and the first time he had smirked - just a slight quirk of the corner of his lips, really, something as simple as that really shouldn't look that good - he barely even registered Ruffnut swooning beside him, or Astrid rushing forward to catch her before she hit the ground, because he was a little too busy admiring the view that was Jack Frost's backside, as Jack walked off.
When it was discovered that Jack was an ice skater - Ruffnut insisted on taking ice skating classes, and ended up dragging the whole Berk gang with her. It was arguably one of the best and worst things that she had ever done to Hic, because while they were skating, he had ended stumbling - straight into Jack's arms. At that time, Jack was still at least half a head taller than him, so Hic was at that perfect height that he was eye level with Jack's lips. And with the position they were in, that meant that Hic had a front row seat - practically direct exposure - to the way his lips pulled into that trademark smirk, and the way he said in that low voice of his: "Looks like you've fallen for me."
And Hiccup swears that in that moment, his soul left his body, because Jack Frost just used a pick up line - that was also a pun - on him.
The sheer pitch of the shriek that comes out of Ruffnut when he tells them what happened afterwards brings his father running to the room holding an axe, thinking that someone was being murdered.

The day Hiccup finds out that their school's dance club is having a car wash to raise funds, he swears he almost gets a heart attack when he finds out just who will be washing the cars. But it's not until he sees what he's wearing that he thinks about whether this is really worth the years of his life he is shaving off his lifetime.
Because not only is Jack Frost shirtless, he is shirtless and wet, and in swimming trunks that leave absolutely nothing to the imagination. Forget the heart attack, Hic thinks he might have a stroke right there and then, because that ass should be illegal. Jack is either completely oblivious to how he is a danger to the health of the general public, or he knows exactly what he is doing to everyone, because the wide smirk he sends Hic when he sees him is anything but innocent.
He even makes it a point to bend over the front of Hic's car in a way that Hic knows has less to do with the actual washing of the car than about showing off the way the swimming trunks cling to his toned legs and his ass - Hic tries really hard not to stare, he really does. Key word here being 'try'.
(He fails miserably, and Jack definitely notices this.)
(He wonders how many squats Jack does in a day.)
"Hey," Jack taps on the driver's side window. Hic swallows and lowers the window, and he does not squeak when Jack leans against the car with a sunny grin on his face. "You got a phone?" he asks.
Hic blinks, before digging his phone out of his pocket and handing it to him. Jack takes the phone, fiddling with it for a moment (while Hiccup sweats because he does not need Jack to know that he has more than a couple of Jack's photos in his photo gallery) before passing it back to him. "There, that's my number." Jack says. "Maybe we can go get some milkshakes or something sometime?"
Hic gapes at him for a second, barely able to believe his own ears, before deciding not to question it, and nodding at Jack. "Yeah," Hic stammers out. "Yeah, that would be cool."
"Cool." Jack flashes another blinding grin at him - really, Hic is amazed that he's still somewhat functioning - "I guess I'll see you later then, hot stuff."
Hic is ninety per cent sure that he's dreaming, but he still manages a grin of his own. "Yeah, see you later." he says, before starting his car and driving off.
