"So then I told Johnson 'bro don't even try to finish 4 hot dogs in under 5 minutes.'" Here Jack goes with another Johnson story. When is Johnson going to learn his lesson and not do stupid things?
"So did he end up eating those hot dogs under 5 minutes?" I say.
"He started choking on the third one," he tries to say without laughing too much and losing control over himself, "poor guy started throwing them back out afterwards. Only Johnson, man." He says while throwing his head back laughing.
I love seeing Jack like this. Laughing so hard that he throws his head back, with the biggest smug on his face, and the way he closes his eyes from all the laughter, the way his smile takes up most of his face. His smile is so cheesy like a child. An adorable child with really white teeth and really nice eyebrows.
This is the goofy and adorable side of him. One of my favorite sides of him actually. Nobody ever gets to see this side of him, except for me and Johnson. Well Johnson doesn't find it adorable, of course.
I can see the waitress bringing our orders from afar. I'm so hungry. I didn't eat much today besides cereal and some yogurt.
"The Chicken Club Sandwich?" The waitress asks.
  "Oh that one is mine."
"And I'm guessing the Classic Cheese Burger with bacon is for the gentleman." She continues.
  "That's me." Jack says.
I love it when Jack picks me up on a Saturday and just takes me out to eat. We normally don't go to actual restaurants, most of the time we just go grab a quick bite to eat from some random fast food place that we find and just end up going to my house or the movies.
Today he actually put a lot of effort in to our date. We're eating at this all-American restaurant, and then afterwards we're going to go by the pier and just watch all of the weird yet entertaining street performers. So this should be fun.
After we finish our meal, we start heading out to the pier. I love walking on the pier, I love how all the lights from the stands, stores, restaurants, and ferris wheel just really brings this place together. It really brings all these people together. It makes the night memorable in a way. You know how sometimes you have a really fun night out with friends, and you had so much fun that you don't remember half of it, but you do remember that there were a lot of pretty lights everywhere? Yeah that's basically it.
I feel a cold breeze come my way and finds it's way through my romper. It's kind of chilly out, I should probably tell Jack that we should start heading home.
  "Babe?"
"Yeah?" He says, obviously distracted by one of the terrible magicians out here.
"It's getting chilly out and I think it's a sign for us to start heading home."
"Home already? The night just started, I mean just check this guy out!" He says as he points out to the performer.
"Babe come on. I'm getting cold and it's already past 10, I don't want to go to sleep late tonight. I have errands I have to run tomorrow." I whine.
"Your parents can go ahead and run those errands, you shouldn't have to worry about it." He says, while he's still drawn to this lame magic act.
"My parents are out of town and they left me a list of errands to run for them." He finally faces me. "Wait. Your parents are out of town you said?"
  "Yeah, why?"
"I think we should hang out at your house for a bit." He says while kinking one of his eyebrows at me.
"Now you're listening." I try to say in annoyed yet playful tone.
"I'm always listening...now let's go to your house!" He says while gripping on to my hand and running. If this boy is making me run with him while I'm in a romper, then I must really love him.
We finally make it to the car, even though we're both completely out of breath. We're in the car and we turn the heater up. As we're driving on the freeway, I'm still trying to warm up so of course I'm shivering. Jack glances over at me and notices me shivering.
"You already have my jacket on how cold can you get?" He says with a chuckle.
"What can I say? It's cold out for a summer night." As I finish my sentence, I notice Jack slides his right hand on my upper thigh and leaves it there.
"Ohhhh, I see what you did there." I say. I love it when he does this. Just having his hands on me makes me feel so protected and guarded. When he makes a turn he always tightens his grip on my thigh. I can honestly say that's probably one of the greatest feelings in the world. I'm his. I'm Jack's. All his. Only his. I'd hate for something or someone to come along and break us up. I'm sure that won't happen though. We're great and we'll continue to be that way.
(Sorry for the short and not-so-good chapter, I had a busy day today, but I still decided to write something quick. I hope you guys don't think it's as crappy as I do. - G)
