SOMEONE's POV

I am an heir. Inheritor. Someday I will inherit my parents' business. I will be married and should be married to an heir and nothing less.  Business is more important than love. What the heck. 

Sabi ni Dad yung couple na nakita ko kahapon ay mga tagapagmana rin. In f'act they belong to the top 5 richest families in the business world. And I couldn't believe they have time for love. Ack. That corny love. Tsk.

I can't love someone. It'll only break our hearts. My sister said love is for people who don't care about money. For businessmen, love is at the bottom of the pyramid. People get married through arrange marriage for business merging. It doesn't matter if you love your groom/bride. I've learned everything from my sister. She's my half sister, actually. Her dad was married to my mom for business purpose. He was a single dad. I don't know what happened. The woman probably ran away because she loved someone else. Stupid.

MELISSA's POV

Andito ako sa mall kasama ang kambal ko. Nagsho-shopping siya. Oo siya lang. Bibili dapat kami ng damit namin eh kaso I hate shopping. Bibilhan din daw niya ako. Alam naman daw niya ang gusto ko eh, siya na lang daw magsusukat. Bahla siya diyan. Alam niyo bang ginawa niya akong carrier? Andami na kayang nabili nitong babaeng to. And this is the 5th shop we're entering. And I have been carrying 7 paperbags na may apat siguro or limang damit at pants at shorts at skirt. HAAAAAAAAAAAAY GIRLS. Umupo na lang ako sa sofa na andito. Finally. Rest.

"Magsusukat lang ako ha?" paalam niya sa akin.

"Take all the time you need." sagot ko.

"Saan ka?"

OH MY GOSH SI ARIEL! This is the 5th day he's giving me gifts and dragging me somewhere. Iniiwasan ko nga siya eh para naman mabasag kahit once lang ang plano niya kaso hindi eh. Prang may tracker siya. Kainis.

I won't say I'm at the mall.

"N—nasa bahay. Bakit?"

"Oh talaga? Sabi ni Aris nakita ka niya sa mall." 

"Baka kambal ko yun. Nagshoshopping eh."

"Sige. Pakisabihan nga ng kambal mo na bilhan niya ako ng long sleeves na checkered na polo para magmatch ang suot natin ngayon."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa sinabi niya. SHT!

"Stand up and turn around." sabi niya.

Nagdadalawang isip ako kung tatayo ba ako or hindi. Lumabas na yung kambal ko galing fitting room.
