Calum's POV
As usual, Eric being co-captain didn't do much good. Try-outs yesterday didn't go too well so we had to conduct another try-out today. It was stressful to say the least so I had to lighten up a bit.
Right now, everyone is running laps in the field and my eyes fell on a certain blue-haired girl sitting on the bleachers with her earphones on. She wasn't hard to spot in the crowd given she has blue hair.
I got out of my trance when Eric called me after everyone finished ran laps.
An hour and a half later, we concluded the try-outs and blue-haired girl wasn't where she was anymore.
After everybody dispersed from the locker room, being the captain, I was left to check everything was in place, lockers locked, and the locker room locked.
I was going through my stuff when I saw an envelope in my chemistry book. This was the envelope that fell from my locker this morning.
June Lopez.
I opened the envelope and I saw a letter in it, a two-page stationery that smells like mint.
I read the whole letter and trust me, I cringed the whole time. This person can't even distinguish "your" form "you're," and the grammar is just.
What the hell?
What is this?
Was this written by a 5th grader?
Like I said, I'm probably a cold heartless jerk, but seeing this just pisses me off. So I did what I had to.

Before going home, I passed by a record store and thought I'd look to see if there's the Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown Vinyl I've been looking for for the past three weeks.
I parked outside and went in.
"Good Afternoon! Welcome to Suburban Blues." I was greeted by the familiar blue-haired girl but she isn't looking up. God she's everywhere.
"Uhh do you have the Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown Vinyl?" She perked her head up and stared at me with her jaw dropped for God knows how long.
"You could get flies if you keep your mouth open." I keep eyeing her and that seems to get her out of her trance. "I-uh yes, uhh-it is in the back room. I'll just go get it.
She quickly ran into the back room and I heard yelling. My phone rang and I got a text from mum saying she needs me home ASAP for an urgent family meeting.
What could It be?
"Excuse me? I'm kind of in a hurry, will you please be quick?" I yelled from the front desk and I see her coming out from the back room all smiles. I wasn't in the mood so I didn't return it.
I paid for the vinyl and since my phone keeps vibrating in my pocket I rushed out the store as soon as I got the vinyl.

I got home and my parents are in the living room, with Mali?
Why is she here? Was there a problem?
"Mum, dad, Mali." I acknowledged everyone and hugged them. "What's wrong? Is there a problem to have a family meeting so urgent?"
I looked at them all so confused. "Well, it wasn't really that urgent, I just happen to be here, but mum and dad really want to talk to you." Mali was the first to talk and I looked at my parents.
"Well you see, son, your dad's old friend, Frank, lost his apartment and we decided to let them in here, in our house." Mum spoke slowly.
"You're letting strangers in our house?" I opposed at the thought of random people living in our house, how big of a family they have. I hate annoying and loud children.
"Look, son, they aren't random strangers, it's an old friend of your dad, they've been best friends since middle school, they just lost touch when we moved. Don't you remember Frank?" My mum continued, he looked at my dad and moved his gaze to me.
"Don't worry, son, it's just him and his daughter, so it wouldn't really be a burden, plus they have a small servo downtown. Frank will stay in the guest room, and his daughter will stay in Mali's" My dad further explained.
"Yeah, at least it will put my room to good use." Mali chirped back in the conversation.
I didn't have a choice but to agree since I'm the odd one out, everybody seem to have decided. "Fine, but I'm setting up rules, I don't want anyone bothering me." My parents' eyes glowed when they heard that.
"They're moving at the end of the week so you have to get ready." I simply nodded and went up to my room and crashed down on my bed. Today has been a long day and I need to rest.

The cafeteria was once again as loud like every day. I sat at my usual table earning glances from girls and their boyfriends.
After I was done eating, I turned to go out of the straining walls of the cafeteria when I heard yelling.
"June! June Lopez!" The voice said, it sounded like a guy.
"June Lopez! June Lopez!" This time, it was a girl's voice. But where have I heard that name. Then it clicked me.
The letter.
"June Lo-" I interrupted the voice by talking myself.
"June Lopez?"
