June's POV

Cousin?

I saw Calum open his door and ran down the stairs. I heard the guys screaming excitedly to each other. I walked closer to the stairs to listen to them.

What does his cousin look like?

Does he look like Calum? Is he as good-looking and as handsome as him?

Great. Another Calum.

"Dude. When did you get home?" Calum asked with a hint of excitement in his voice.

"Just a week ago, I was still adjusting to everything plus the unpacking so I didn't come here sooner." His cousin said. Wait. That voice sounds familiar.

"By the way, I brought dinner, thought I'd be a good relative and bring my second family food." He laughed and that's how everything creeped me out.

Could it be?

"What are you doing behind the vase?"

"AH!" I was startled by the voice that I almost fell off the stairs if Calum hadn't caught me. Our faces are too close to each other that if I move an inch I could kiss him.

I got out of my trance when Calum dropped me by the sound of the voice behind me.

"Dude, your mum has been calling you nonstop. June?" The voice behind me said.

I turned around and then again, saw the hottest piece of shit I've ever seen.

Next to Calum.

"Luke!" I stood up and smiled at the breadstick in front of me. "Hi. Wait, you and Calum are cousins?" I asked completely confused. They don't look very much alike.

"You and Calum are dating?" Luke raised his eyebrow at me making me blush both at him staring at me and at the question.

"That's the biggest bullshit I've ever heard, man. You do know that she's not my type." Calum coughed beside me, "Mum's just calling you out for dinner," he turned to me and ran down the stairs because Aunt Joy kept on calling him.

"I'm sorry about him, he doesn't really have, you know, what all other people have." Luke chuckled at his statement as if it was supposed to be a joke that I should know.

"What? A sense of respect?"

"No. A heart."

We both laughed at Luke's little joke as we descended down the stairs. When we got to the dining room, everybody's already waiting for us, including Calum's dad.

"Uncle David, long time no see. How's the firm doing?" Luke started a conversation with Uncle David whilst pulling two seats, one for him and one for me.

I smiled at his gentlemanly gesture and sat at the chair beside him and in front of Calum.

I can feel Calum's eyes shooting daggers at me and when I looked at him, he didn't even try hiding it.

Luke - 1

Calum - 0

"The firm is great, wonderful even. We could actually use an intern like you since Calum doesn't want anything to do with the company." Uncle David answered Luke chuckling a little. I helped Aunt Joy with the plates and serving the food.

"Well, I would love to, but right now, sir, I would like to focus on my studies. Last time I didnt, we all know where that got me." The both of them laughed reminiscing the time when Luke was sent to boarding school because of his horrible grades and gesture. Luke has got a great relationship with the Hoods, is Calum also this cheerful? I doubt that.
