Calum's POV
Moving out is not as easy as it looks. Too much adjustments are to be made and I'm only nineteen. However, I've been independent enough to handle myself.
I received tons of text messages from June and I didn't bother to reply to any of them. It's not that I don't want to reply, it's just that I couldn't.
Monday came and June hasn't been in school, Mikhaela told me that she was still resting and will be in school tomorrow but I couldn't help but worry.
Luke was back in school, so was Eric. And of course, everyone was still bugging me about my relationship with June since we were living together and I'm getting tired of it.
When I thought I would have a peaceful day, Eric walked over to me.
"What do you want." I simply asked, he smirked at me, "Didn't know June was your type, how long have you been dating?"
"We aren't-" I was interrupted with Luke talking, "They aren't dating." Both of us looked at him confused, "They aren't, because we are."
I furrowed my eyes at him. What the hell is he talking about?
"You two are dating?" Eric held back a laugh and motioned to the both of us. "Wh-no! Not Calum! June. June and I, we're the ones dating, not her and Calum."
What?
Since when?
The fuck?
Eric showed an amused smile on his face. "Wow, goodluck with that." He patted Luke's shoulder and I turned to Luke. He was avoiding my gaze. "Since when?"
"Uh-not important, it just uh happened." Before I could even ask another question, he walked as fast as possible and away from me.

For the rest of the classes I've been out, just like always. But this time, my mind flew between Luke and June. When the fuck did they happen?
So, was that why she was ignoring me? Because she was already with Luke?
My thoughts were interrupted by the bell ringing, meaning lunch is already here.
When I got to the cafeteria, Luke and June were already there. Great.
I try to act cool and sat in front of Luke because it's the only seat. I realized the other couple wasn't there so I asked Luke, "Where're the lovebirds?" I try to avoid June's gaze because I'm pretty sure she would ask about me moving out.
"They got detention for passing notes during class. Pretty sweet, might I add." Sweet. Luke chuckled at that and I felt June stare at me. I started a conversation with Luke in hopes June wouldn't have a chance to talk but I spoke too soon.
"Why did you move out?" She asked softly and I hesitantly looked at her. Luke cleared his throat, "I uh, I think the principal's calling me, I'm just uh, okay bye." I think he felt the tension between us because I haven't told him the reason I moved out.
It took me awhile to reply, "I don't have to explain anything to you." I returned to my food and was once again engulfed in awkward silence.
"If you're thinking it's because of you, don't flatter yourself." It is because of you.
She looked down. Shit, I must've hurt her feelings. So I spoke again to avoid the topic. "So when did you and Luke happen?"
She looked back up at me confused, "Aren't you two dating?" Her eyes widened at the news, "What?"
Wow, she is even denying it. I scoffed, "Wow, you're denying it, Luke already told me."
"What are you talking about?"
"Everybody knows you guys are dating. Luke told the whole school." I furrowed my eyes at her, why does she not now they were dating?
Wait.
They're not dating.
I saw Luke drag her out of our table. He must be telling her about the whole dating thing.
Nice try Luke.
Why the fuck are they even pretending?
Wait, that is Luke.
Could he be?
No shit.
Is he trying to make me jealous?
Well, he's been bugging me about my feelings for June in a long time.
I laughed to myself at the thought of Luke's plan. He might be smart. But he's not smart enough to know that I I'm smart enough to figure everything out.
Wait. That was confusing.
"Are you going crazy?" I got out of my trance with Michael speaking. "No-uh."
"Chill dude, I'm just messing with you." He slapped my shoulder and I chuckled, "So where're the lovebirds?" Lovebirds my ass.
"Out there, I don't know, having a quickie?" The couple laughed at that and I chuckled at my own joke. I know that wouldn't happen, June's too innocent for that.
I saw the 'lovebirds' come back to our table with June's arms linked with Luke's. Yeah right.
"Dude, if you're having a quickie, never ever do it in the janitor's closet. The janitor's pretty sneaky. I'm telling 'ya." Michael pointed at Luke and I saw Mikhaela blushed in embarrassment.
What?
TMI Mike, TMI.
I got back to my orange juice but this time I have fries.
Luke and Michael were still talking and I was on my phone whilst eating my fries.
I saw June with my peripheral view leaning on Luke's shoulder and I looked up. Her hands were tangled around Luke's arm.
Wow, she's really at it huh?
I scoffed and got back to my food.
