June's POV
Tonight's the graduation ball we all forgot about. With all of the happenings in the past few weeks, who would even remember, right?
I never even had got the time to buy a dress. Thankfully, though, Aunt Joy kept the dress Mali wore in her high school prom.
It was a long baby pink pastel dress. It was just simple but beautiful. I wasn't even sure if I could pull it off but I had no choice.
The doorbell rang and when I walked to get it, my dad beat me to it. The door opened and showed my date for the night.
Well, it wasn't really a date, we're just coming to the ball together. I hesitated at first but then when I learned Calum was forced to bring Naomi, I knew our plan was starting.
We took a couple of pictures before going out of the house wishing it was with Calum and went outside.
Luke had asked me about being his date so it wouldn't be weird but that'll ruin our plan.
Eric held the car door out for me and I got in the passenger seat. We drove to school and talked about our plan on the way.
We then arrived at the venue and went inside heads whipping our way. They must be shocked and wondering why I was with Eric instead of Calum tonight.
I easily spotted my friends taking their picture at the photobooth and I immediately photobombed making Michael groan.
"Dude! Take a picture with your date not us!" I frowned at him then his face softened a little. I guess he realized I don't really have a real date and the person that I want to be my date has someone else. Speaking of him, I haven't seen him around.

Calum's POV
"I told you to wear the blue one, not the pink one! It makes you look gay!" I rolled my eyes for the nth time today, tired of hearing Naomi whine about my clothes not being paired up with hers.
She was wearing a navy blue dress that hung just above her knee and I made sure not to wear my blue dress shirt.
Just because I was bringing her to the ball, didn't mean I have to pair up with her dress, so instead, I threw on a light pink dress shirt a lot different from her blue dress.
You know the times when someone puts on makeup, they'll look a lot different from their usual look? Well, since Naomi puts heavy makeup everyday of her life, nothing really changed.
The moment Mr. Stevenson knew about the graduation ball, he immediately insisted that I bring Naomi. I intentionally thought about bringing June as 'friends' since the whole school still thinks we're a thing but then this happened. Now, the whole school will know about us splitting up seeing I brought another date.
Will she be going alone or with a date? I was dreading the latter but it would be unfair to her.
We arrived at the venue with Naomi continuously nagging. She became like this ever since the announcement of the engagement. She used to be so sweet that I didn't have a problem with her, now, she was the problem. She became so obsessive and clingy.
As we step inside the hall, everyone's eyes were on us. They must be wondering why I was with someone else hearing whispers from the whole student body.
'So they really did break-up.'
'But they were okay yesterday. June was so supportive during his speech, taking pictures of him and such.'
She did? I couldn't help but try to hide my smile at that.
'They were also taking pictures together'
