Calum's POV
She's beautiful, really beautiful.
We're now on our way for dinner and might I say, June's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She's just wearing a simple dress and only simple makeup but she's the most gorgeous girl.
I want this night to be perfect. This is the first date I've had in a long time and I'm nervous as hell. I'm a perfectionist so this is crucial for me.
We later arrived at the restaurant and since I'm trying my hardest, I walked over to her door before she could go out so I could open it for her.
I reached for her hand and we walked over the restaurant.
"Good Evening Sir, Ma'am, do you have a reservation?" The receptionist greeted us, "Uh yes, Calum Hood please." The receptionist looked through the list over and over but later on frowned.
"I'm sorry, sir, apparently, there is no reservation with your name in it." What?
"No, that can't be, I called earlier and this woman, Lindy, confirmed for me. You can ask her that." I did, I really did. How come my name's not on the list? She fucking confirmed it twice.
"I'm sorry sir, but Ms. Lindy isn't here right now but we'll put your name on the list. Although there are a lot of reservations for tonight, you might have to wait a little longer." Don't freaking ruining my night.
I felt June hold my arm and I looked at her but then back at the receptionist. "No, okay, I reserved early, we should be on top of the list, are you really going to make my date wait?!"
They're ruining my night, our night.
"Excuse me, is there a problem here?" A guy, who I think is the manager came over and I spoke, "Yes, there's a big problem, I have a reservation but apparently your employees don't do their jobs well."
The receptionist look scared and shit but I don't really care at the moment, "We're sorry sir, but as much as we want to make a consideration for you, we can't, there are VIPs who came all the way from overseas."
VIPs?
"Well I'm from overseas, too, I'm from Australia, so can you make a consideration for me now?!" I felt June hold my hand and squeezed it so I calmed down a little. I looked at her and she spoke, "We can just eat somewhere else, it's okay."
No, I planned this. I planned everything and everything should've been perfect but this fucking restaurant ruined it.
I felt like we have no choice so I agreed and went outside the restaurant.
When we got outside, we were just standing beside my car and I looked down, upset that our night has been ruined. "Hey" June said.
"I wanted this night to be perfect." I saw her shadow walking towards me so I looked up, a frown still present on my face. "You don't need to take me to a fancy restaurant for our date to be perfect. You've done enough. The surprise was actually already perfect."
No, it wasn't perfect. There were no roses, the cake got ruined and shit.
"C'mon, since the restaurant didn't go well, I know where we can go." I looked at her confused and she pulled me. "What about the car." She just kept on pulling me.
She stopped a few minutes later and I glanced around and saw we were at McDonald's. Really? I looked at her and she pouted at me, "What? McDonald's makes me happy, so should to you, too."
She pulled me closer to the fast food chain, "Aren't we dressed a little too fancy for McDonald's?" She ignored my question and pushed the door open for us.
I didn't really care, people were staring at us. It was actually fun, to be honest, we look like total idiots in fancy clothes.
"I didn't really picture my first date to be like this." First?
"First? Never been on a date before?" Never?
She shook her head and ate a fry, "Yeah, I mean, I'm not really, you know, a guy's type. Plus, I've only had my eye on one person for three years." That hit me like a ton of bricks.
"Well, I'm glad to be your first. Your first date, your first kiss. Hmm. What else?" I teased and she threw a fry at me.
I wasn't really thinking about it until now. What if? I mean, I haven't really done it. Okay, I should stop now.
Then it hit me. I've been having so much fun that I completely forgot about the marriage. My supposed to be marriage is happening in three weeks, and I have to find a way to back out of it, without June knowing about it.
We haven't talked about Naomi just yet, she just asked that one time. I'm dreading the time when we'll actually have to talk about it.

A/N
Okay, there was a mistake in one of the past chapters, but I'll fix that. It's in Chapter 23.5, when Calum said his marriage is going to be in three weeks, I lost count at the weeks but now, yes, it's only going to be three weeks before the marriage.
Woot. This is a short chapter, forgive me.
