Calum's POV

I've been driving around the neigborhood for about two hours now and still, there are no signs of June.

I just want to see her, explain everything to her and be with her. Is that too much to ask?

Then again, Calum, you did this.

I kept on driving that I never realized one place she would actually go to.

I drove as fast as I could to his father's servo not caring about getting caught of speeding. I just needed to see her.

Later on, I arrived at the servo and parked on the other side of the road for her not to see my car.

I slowly and carefully walk to the servo. There are a lot of people in here. This servo is always jampacked so I tried my best to blend in with the crowd in case Uncle Frank is here.

He would throw me out even without talking to June, that's for sure.

I spotted Uncle Frank at the cashier and I glanced around looking for my girlfriend.

I walked towards a waitress to ask about June but when she turned around, I stopped dead in my tracks.

June.

"C-Calum?" She was holding a menu up her chest with a shocked look on her face.

I sighed of relief and walked closer to her whilst she stepped back. "June."

She looked down and I started to talk, "I need to talk to you."

"June? Are you o-" I heard her dad talk from the counter but stopped himself when I guess he realized it was me.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Uncle Frank said, my eyes still trained on June's, "Please?" I said, ignoring her father's question.

"I asked you-"

"Dad?"

June interrupted her own father and talked herself, "Can you give us a moment, please?"

Uncle Frank hesitated for a bit but agreed anyways leaving the both of us not without glaring at me.

"Follow me."

She walked upstairs to get us some privacy and I followed her walking into a room which I assume is her temporary room. It was small compared to her room at my parents' house.

She sat on her bed but that didn't give me permission to sit beside her, unlike before. Now, everything seemed different, so I just stood by the door and stared at her.

She glanced around her room before looking at me. I couldn't tell her feelings based on her expression so I stood there doing nothing.

"You said you wanted to talk." I looked back up to her, she was already hugging on her fried chicken pillow. I chuckled internally knowing I was the one who bought her that.

She must've noticed the way I looked at the pillow and she quickly detached it form her hands and glared at me.

"Talk." I got out of my senses and started talking, "I-uh, need to explain."

She just looked at me so I guess that was my cue to continue but when I was about to speak she cut me off, "Luke already told me."

Luke?

I looked at her confused and she continued, "He told me everything. About the investment agreement and such."

Luke told me he lost her, was he lying?

"Luke?" I asked her and she answered, "Luke told me last night when I saw your wallet in his pocket. You were trying to get me out of the hall so I wouldn't see, right?"
