June's POV
I wasn't ready to face Calum but I have to. It's now Monday, and after that game last Saturday, I haven't seen him, not even yesterday. He didn't even come out of his room, or if so, I didn't see him come out.
I went to school earlier that morning so I wouldn't have to face Calum. When I got to school, everybody's been staring at me. I got to my locker when Mina, the head cheerleader came up to me. "You really have the guts to go to school after what you did?"
I was confused to say the least. What have I done this time? I looked at her confused and she laughed sarcastically, "You really don't know what you did? I heard you gave Calum sleeping pills before the game and look where that got him. Is this because he rejected you? That's so low."
"I didn't-" Before I can even talk, "Calum! Are you okay?" Calum walked down the corridors being swarmed by girls and I took the opportunity to run out of the venue in hopes of him not seeing me.

"So you stalked me? What the fuck Mike! That's creepy!" We are now walking back to my place and Michael was telling me how he found out I live with the Hoods. "Well, you wouldn't tell us, so I had to do it the hard way, literally it was hard following you, you have lots of stopovers. Seriously!"
We reached our now house and went inside. Thankfully Calum's car isn't here so technically he isn't here yet. Aunt Joy came into view and greeted us. I introduced my friends to her and she offered us food. Well, who would turn down food, right?
"This house doesn't only look good from the outside, it is better in the inside." Mikhaela praised the house and glanced around looking at furniture and picture frames.
"Is this little shit, Jerklum? I didn't know he has a sister." Michael laughed looking at Calum's baby pictures hung on the walls of the house. "His sister's in college in London so he was left here."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" A voice startled us making us look where it came from.
Calum.
"Oh-uh, I didn't know you're home, your car wasn't outside." I tried to explain but he doesn't seem to buy it.
"Now you bring your friends? We had an agreement."
"I'm sorry, but I-" I was once again interrupted but this time it wasn't pleasant.
"Is this even your house?!" By this time, he was raising his voice, he was furious. "Are you testing me? Do you really want to ruin my life? Ever since you came here, nothing good ever happened! We almost lost the game because of you!" Mikhaela's head was down and so was mine. "Hey-" Michael's furious himself but I stopped him before he could do anything.
"Calum Thomas Hood! What do you think you're doing?" Aunt Joy tried to stop him but it's no use.
"Mom, stay out of this." He glanced at his mom but then glanced back to us. "You never did anything right! You're using my family for your own good."
"Calum! You have no right to talk to June like that. This is my house and I could invite anyone even without your consent." Aunt Joy was pretty pissed herself.
Calum didn't seem to be bothered as he continued talking to us, "From now on, I want you to stay out of my life. You and your stupid friends need to leave."
He walked out right that second and left us dumbfounded. Aunt Joy looked at us, "I'm really sorry about him, he really has an attitude, I'll just go talk to him." She smiled at us and went to upstairs.
"He is such a jerk! Ah! Why would you let him talk to you like that!? I could've punched him right then and there if you didn't stop me." Michael is really furious, his ears are red, I haven't seen him this mad before.
"This hasn't happened before; I guess the game incident ticked him off."
"Even though! He doesn't have the right to talk to you like that! You're still a girl!"
"He's right, you know. Maybe we should go." Mikhaela agreed with his boyfriend and they start gathering their things ready to go.
"Where are you going?" Aunt Joy stopped us before we can go outside. "Are you leaving? I'm really sorry again for Calum, he isn't normally like this." She gave us a sympathetic smile and let us on our way. My two friends waved goodbye at me and I went back inside the house.
I went up to my room and thought flooded my head. Was that what Calum really felt? Did he really think we're freeloaders?
Although I realized that he's right, I've never done anything right. I always put him into trouble. Maybe I shouldn't bother him anymore? Or maybe I should move out?
--
Three days had passed, it was now Friday, and I haven't had a normal conversation with Calum. It consisted of me trying to talk to him and him pretending that I don't exist. Although every time, an apology always comes up.
"June! Honey." I heard Aunt Joy called me from the kitchen. I went to the kitchen and I saw her on her laptop probably watching recipe videos again. "So, we're having a barbeque this weekend, I like you to invite your friends, they're lovely."
"But Calum-" She interrupted me, "Who cares about him? This is my house; I could invite whoever I want to. And oh! I think Luke is bringing your curly haired friend to." We both chuckled at that.
"Okay, I'll tell them." I smiled at her and excused myself to make a call.
I was going back upstairs to my room when I heard loud voices the moment I passed by Uncle David's office. "I'm not doing it." A voice said from the other side of the door. It sounded like Calum.
"I told you, I don't want anything to do with your company. I went out with Naomi, isn't that enough?!" I was startled by Calum raising his voice.
Why would he talk to his father like that?
Not wanting to further hear anything in their conversation, I ran back up to my room. I didn't mean to eavesdrop but what is happening? And who is Naomi?
