After about half an hour, I reached for my phone and listened to some music for a while. I wanted to make sure that he was in deep sleep so that I could get up and set out his presents.
After an hour, his breathing became heavier and I knew he was in deep sleep so I carefully pulled my legs from his and got out of bed. I tiptoed to the living room with his presents in my hand.
I got to the tree and put down the two more serious packages before going to the kitchen and putting a gift on the hob with a note saying that he should open it straight away. I knew he would be up early to make breakfast.
I then walked back to the bedroom and put he last couple of presents by the door.
I crept back into bed and resumed the position as I drifted off to sleep.
A/n. I know it's short but the next chapter will be long so it will even it out. It also might take a bit longer to write but we'll have to wait and see.
