Blood now covered her whole calf, but it did little to stop them from causing anymore to spill. She begged them to stop, to understand that hurting her won't make her remember anything. She didn't understand why they were doing this, except for the fact she was apparently a murderer. She started to find it hard to believe that her and Seth were ever close friends, from the cold look in his eyes, she was nothing to him. She was nothing but a waste of life to him, how could he hate her so much when he had apparently loved her.
"W-we couldn't h-have been friends." she breathed out as he stepped off of her leg.
He froze, his blue eyes locked on her's, telling her she had his attention. She swallowed and slowly sat up, leaning her back against his desk. Blood soaked his carpet as she closed her eyes, trying to stop the dizziness.
"You remember?" he asked.
She shook her head, "Th-that man...he told me, we were super close. I-I don't believe him."
"Why?"
She opened her eyes and looked at him, "N-no matter what, a friend, d-doesn't hurt their friend...l-like this."
She watched as he clenched his jaw and looked down, even though she could see the pain on his face, she refused to believe it was actually there. He hated her, she knew that now. She had learned that in only fifteen minutes of him causing as much pain to her leg as he could. The red-haired woman frowned and looked at the quiet alpha.
"Well, if a friend is betrayed enough, they can hate the other." she said, glaring at Lilianna.
However, Lilianna shook her head. "N-no...if he had done this to me and he didn't remember, I would try to help him remember first. What's the point of torturing me? I'll be dead before you get your answers. I can't handle much more."
He looked at her, she wasn't lying, he knew that. He knew all the signs of her lying, but she only showed pure honesty.
"How old was I?" she suddenly asked. "When I had killed your parents."
"Ten."
She frowned, "Are alphas...strong?"
"Yes. We're stronger than any other werewolf in the pack." he explained.
She nodded, "Were both of your parents alphas?"
"No, my mother was born a beta, the second strongest."
"Then, think of this, how would I have killed them? I was a small, ten year old girl. Surely, I wouldn't have been strong enough to do that."
"You had your parents do it."
She scoffed, "My father tried shoving me into a river and my mother...wasn't my mother. I...I don't remember much, but he told me she abused me. Is abuse the same as torture?"
He frowned, "It's pretty close."
For a few seconds she sat there quietly, "Your theory sounds ridiculous."
"What?"
"That I, a ten year old girl, would have made her parents kill your parents."
He clenched his jaw, "They were hunters, they hated my parents' kind."
"No..my father is just like you guys. He shifted in the cell...they injected him with something though. He ended up shifting back." she explained.
Confusion swam in Seth's eyes, "And your mother?"
"That woman? She's a hunter, my dad said something about protecting my real mother." she winced as her started to ache. "Why do you hate hunters?"
"They hated us first." he growled.
