Lilianna stayed close to Seth as they walked inside of the Alpha's house, unlike them, this alpha had his own house. His beta had briefly explained that the only person who lived in the house besides the alpha was his mate. Who, from what they've gathered, hates the alpha. Seth wrapped his arm around her waist, she smiled when he quickly rubbed her growing belly. When they reached the conference room, the two warriors nodded and greeted them before opening the large door.

Sitting at the end of the table was a rather muscular guy, he wasn't wearing what someone would wear to a conference. He was shirtless and she prayed he had pants on and not just boxers. When he looked up, he immediately smiled at them, he got up from his chair to quickly welcome them. Lilianna's eyes widened at how tall he was, he was freakishly tall, but he was taller than Seth. She shook his hand before tightening her grip on Seth's, she wasn't used to being around extremely intimidating alphas.

"Oh, am I not intimidating?" Seth mind-linked her.

She could feel her cheeks heat up, "You read my thoughts, didn't you?"

"Yup."

"Well, no, not to me. I'm used to your temper."

"Fair enough."

They quickly took their seats, knowing Alpha Odysseus wasn't known for his patience. The door swung open once again, revealing an extremely annoyed she-wolf with blazing green eyes. She sat across from Lilianna, making sure she didn't touch Odysseus at all. The alpha's brown eyes flashed with irritation before he released a breath, he grabbed the woman's chair and dragged it close to his.

"Behave." he growled lowly.

She clenched her jaw, "Don't tell me what to do, Odysseus."

"You can hate me all you want afterwards, but I don't want my Luna acting foolish during meetings." he replied.

She sighed, "Well, get on with the meeting then."

He glared at her for a few seconds, he eventually let out a small growl and faced them again. While Lilianna was shocked by the sizzling hatred between the two, Seth's expression just showed nothing but boredom. She bit her lip, she glanced at the she-wolf, the girl wasn't paying any attention to them. She was far too busy glaring at the table, before she noticed her staring, Lilianna tore her gaze away from her.

"So, you want me as your ally if those hunters attack?" Odysseus questioned.

Seth nodded, "Yes, since I refuse to mate with Sophia, her father refuses to be my ally."

Odysseus chuckled, "You don't want that fool being your ally anyway. I made that mistake many years ago, he'll stab you in the back the first chance he gets."

"Good to know." Seth smiled.

"Well, considering my father and your father had settled whatever problems they had, I don't see why we couldn't be allies." Odysseus grinned. "However, I would love to watch your warriors train. As you know, my allies cannot be weak or toxic to my pack."

Seth nodded, "You can come by whenever you like."

"I will stop by next week, on Thursday morning."

"Will you be staying?" Lilianna asked, speaking up for the first time.

The brown-eyed alpha turned his gaze to her, he smiled warmly. "Yes, I would love to stay until Sunday evening."

"We'll make sure we have a room for you and your mate." she replied.

"I won't be coming." the girl snapped.
