Lilianna (NEW VERSION)

Chapter 10

"Hey, Lil, when is the last time you shifted?" Ryan questioned as she sat on her bed.

Lilianna frowned, "Well...I only ever shifted twice. The last time was a few weeks ago."

"Really? Can you talk to your wolf?"

"No, I used to, but they injected me with a lot of wolfsbane. I can still feel my wolf struggling to heal us of it." Lilianna replied with a sad look.

Ryan grinned, "Well, shifting will probably help with that. Come on, we can shift outside and go for a run."

Lilianna followed Ryan as they walked downstairs. After exploring the house most of yesterday, she was able to remember the way down to the kitchen and front door. Of course, Ryan was with her the whole time and had introduced her to many packmembers. She was confused when they had apologized to her for Seth's doing, claiming that anyone who allows torture in the pack are always punished.

When Ryan had heard that, she mumbled something about Seth needing to watch his back. She then explained to Lilianna that her uncle was very strict when it came to torture. Anyone who tortured a rogue, packmember, or whoever, were treated the same way.

"So, if someone whips someone, then for punishment, that person would be whipped." Ryan had told her.

Even though she hated him, she was worried for him. Torturing him wouldn't take away the torture she received and she didn't want anyone being tortured for her.

"So, do you know how to shift?" Ryan asked as they stepped into the forest.

Lilianna nodded, "Yeah."

"Good, I'll shift first."

Lilianna watched as Ryan shifted into a blonde colored wolf, her blue eyes watched Lilianna with excitement. Lilianna took a deep breath before closing her eyes. After a few seconds, she could feel the shift take over.

When she opened her eyes again, she was her regular, dark brown wolf. Ryan barked happily before nudging her.

They both took off into the forest, barking and howling with joy. Lilianna wagged her tail as they darted through the trees, trying to beat each other to the river. Before Ryan could reach the banks of the river, Lilianna ran on a rock and jumped over her. She slid a little in the sandy ground before sitting down.

"Cheater." Ryan mind-linked her.

Lilianna seemed shocked at first, but wagged her tail. "Awe, don't be a sore loser now."

Ryan barked before tackling her, the two play fought until they heard a low growl. Both she-wolves stood up and scanned the area around them.

"Who was that?" Lilianna questioned.

Ryan whined a little, "I don't know, but let's start heading back. I already let Darien and Seth know."

Lilianna quickly followed Ryan as they sprinted back towards the packhouse. However, five, large wolves jumped out and started chasing them. Ryan growled and got behind Lilianna, trying to keep the wolves away from her.

"Follow me, my wolf is telling me to go left." Lilianna said before veering left.

Ryan glanced back at the rogues before following her new friend. Both wolves tried making it harder for the rogues by zigzagging throught the trees and bushes. Ryan stumbled a bit when they reached an old house.

"Lil, wait! Do you...do you know who's house this is?" Ryan asked.

Lilianna shook her head, "My wolf guided me here."

"It's your old house, Lil."
