Lilianna (NEW VERSION)

Chapter 14

Seth was hesitant to leave Lilianna's room, he knew he shouldn't fear his own pack, but he didn't want to hear the insults again. They only got worse each day, his packmembers started going towards personal insults. However, Lilianna grabbed his hand and held it as they walked to the front door. His grip tightened on her hand as they passed a few packmembers, they all glared at him, but when they went to make an insult, Lilianna threatened to punch them. That immediately shut them up, earning a small grin from Seth. Once they finally made it to the car, Ryan walked out with her younger brother.

"Lilianna, this is Tyler, my younger brother." Ryan introduced. "Tyler, this is Lilianna, Seth's future lover."

Seth and Lilianna stared at her in shock, Ryan only smiled innocently before clapping her hands together. "So, you have the video?" she asked.

Tyler nodded, "Yupp, I'll play it as soon as you leave."

"Thanks." Ryan grinned before hopping into the driver's seat. 

Tyler turned his gaze to Seth, "My parents are worried sick about you. They're far from hating you." 

Seth didn't believe him, they could all tell, but he didn't say anything about it. He only nodded silently before getting into the car and closing the door. Lilianna quickly thanked Tyler before getting into the car herself. Seth silently stared out the window, he felt as if he shouldn't leave the pack, but they didn't want him as their alpha anymore. Hell, they didn't even want him living there anymore. He tore his gaze away from the packhouse and closed his eyes, trying to relax. 

From the front seat, Lilianna glanced at Seth to see him dozing, she smiled a tiny bit before looking out the window again. She earned a curious glance from Ryan, who only smirked at her. 

"What?" Lilianna asked.

Ryan grinned, "You have feelings for him." 

"What? No." 

"And he has feelings for you." 

Lilianna frowned, "You think so?"

"You know how we all have mates?"

"Yeah."

"Well, sometimes, it's harder to realize who our mate is. You're not fully connected with your wolf and Seth blocks out his wolf most of the time." 

"So, what you're saying is...."

"You and Seth are mates. Why else couldn't he hurt you? Why else does he care for you?"

"If he blocks the mate-bond, he won't care." Lilianna whispered.

"That's not true...Lil, Seth has been in love with you since you two were young."

"Then how come he never told me he loved me?"

Ryan smiled, "He doesn't know how. That and he doesn't know he's in love with you, he never fell in love before."

"What about that Sophia girl?"

Ryan burst out laughing, "That crazy bitch is nothing to him. He's only dating her so her father will be an ally, but she has been screwing every male in that pack."

"Oh."

"Even though he doesn't realize it yet, I can see it. He does love you, he just...needs a lot of help. If anyone destroyed him, it would be the council. They forced him to be this emotionless alpha, that is one thing my uncle and aunt would never wish on their child. If they were alive today, they would attack the council. What they did should be considered illegal, it was wrong. They caused him to become depressed, they caused him to try to kill himself, they're the ones who ruined his mind." tears ran down Ryan's face as she continued staring at the road. 

"And now, that god forsaken pack is bullying him because they believe he tortured you and rogues. You know, his father did torture rogues, the whole pack knew that too. However, some how, Darien convinced them that Seth was doing it for fun."

Lilianna frowned, "So, if anyone should be punished, it's Darien."

"Uh huh, Tyler is going to take care of that, because my dad has no problem torturing those who deserve it." 

"What if the pack goes against your brother?"

Ryan smirked, "Well, they better not, I don't think they want to deal with my dad. He may be tough on Seth, but he loves him as if he were his own son. He's extremely protective, especially over his family. They're already in trouble for doing what they did to Seth."

Lilianna sighed as she looked back at Seth, he was now curled up against the door, sound asleep. 

"Well, if I am actually Seth's mate...I'm not disappointed." she said. "Even though he's a huge asshole and I want to rip his head off sometimes...he is far from a bad guy."

Ryan smiled, "You know, I'm glad you came back. I know he did horrible things to you, but...he needs you. You're good for him."

"To be honest, I'm pretty sure I need him too."

As the two girls talked, not one of them noticed the small smile on Seth's face.

A/N: No, Lilianna hasn't forgiven him yet, but she is starting to realize that she does have feelings for him and that they need each other.
