Chapter 15

"Seth, get out of the car." Lilianna sighed.

"Are you sure they want me here?" he asked, eyeing the large packhouse.

Ryan frowned, "Why wouldn't they?"

"Your father shunned me, doesn't that mean he hates me?" Seth questioned.

"No...he was just trying to teach you a lesson. But when he heard of what was really happening, he wanted you here. He doesn't want you near your pack until they have some sense back in their heads. He's afraid they're going to...hurt you." Ryan explained.

Seth frowned, but he slowly got out of the car and awkwardly stood there. Lilianna noticed the fear in his eyes, she smiled and gently cupped his cheek. He immediately looked at her in shock, she only continued to give him a reassuring smile.

"You'll be fine." she assured him.

He looked back at the house before following the two girls, he quickly grabbed the largest suitcases, mumbling that they shouldn't be carrying everything. Lilianna smiled even more, hope blossomed in her chest as she got a glimpse of the old Seth. When they all entered the house, Ryan was immediately pulled into a hug.

"Oh, my baby girl is home! How are you? Do you feel okay?" the woman questioned.

Ryan chuckled, "Yes, mom, I'm fine."

"Good." 

The woman looked up at Lilianna, a warm smile appeared on her face as she hugged the shy she-wolf. "You must be Lilianna, it's a pleasure to meet you. My god, you are gorgeous! Stay away from the men in this pack, they are mostly players." she warned her.

Lilianna chuckled, "Don't worry, I already have my sight set on someone else." 

She sneaked a glance at a confused Seth, once he saw her smile at him, he relaxed a little. The woman then turned her attention to Seth, tears pooled into her eyes as she hugged him. Seth stiffened, but eventually relaxed enough to hug her back.

"You know we love you, right?" the woman sniffled.

Seth nodded, "I know."

"Dad!" Ryan cheered as she ran up to a man.

The man chuckled, "Hey, princess." 

"Oh, this is Lilianna and then, the turtle."

Seth scowled, "You know I don't like that nickname."

Ryan smirked, "But I do, don't you, Lilianna?"

Lilianna grinned, "I think it's cute."

Seth continued to scowl until his uncle suddenly pulled him into a hug. "You better not do what you did many years ago. We lost your parents, we can't lose you too."

"I won't." Seth mumbled as his uncle hugged him tighter. 

"Seth, eat this food or I will pin you down and force you to eat it." Steven threatened.

"Well, that's one way to make him feel loved." Ryan mumbled. "Dad of the year award goes to Steven!" 

Steven raised an eyebrow, "Do you want to clean the whole packhouse again?"

"No." 

"Thought so." 

"Okay, so, I baked some cookies..." Chloe grinned as she walked in with a tray.

"Mom, it's lunch time." Ryan frowned.

Chloe pursed her lips, "Fuck lunch, I want cookies. So, here's some cookies."

Lilianna chuckled as she grabbed a cookie, "Ryan, I love your mom."

"How my kids aren't fat is beyond me, all Chloe does is bake cakes, cookies, and so on." Steven sighed.

"Well, we're werewolves and you had us training every single day." Ryan grumbled. 

"Alphas have to train. Seth, stop staring at your plate and eat the sandwich." Steven ordered.

Seth frowned, "I'm not hungry."

"How are you not hungry?" Steven groaned.

"Eat a cookie." Chloe mumbled, shoving a cookie in Seth's face.

"If you eat that cookie...." 

Seth smirked before grabbing the cookie and taking a large bite, "This is really good."

"Give me a fucking cookie." Steven grumbled.

"No."

"What?"

"You're rude."

"Chloe, please, can I have a cookie?" Steven pleaded.

She grinned, "Of course-

He grinned and went to grab the cookie, but she quickly pulled it away.

"Bitch."

"Jerk." 

"Fine, I'll just go see Cassandra." Steven mumbled.

Chloe shrugged, "Fine, go see that slut. She can give you cookies and pop out your babies, you have a small dick anyway."

"And that is our cue to leave." Ryan sounded as she grabbed more cookies.

"You weren't saying that the first time you saw it." Steven snapped.

"Until I met Jace."

"Who the hell is Jace?"

"Who's Cassandra?"

"I was joking! I just wanted a fucking cookie!"

"Oh...well, this is awkward." 

Steven narrowed his eyes, "Who. Is. Jace."

"I don't know, is there even a Jace in this pack?" Chloe grinned.

"Are we done talking about this? I honestly don't want to hear anything else about your sex life or whatever." Ryan snapped.

Steven smirked, "Your mother loves my-

"Pokemon card collection." Chloe cut in.

Steven frowned as he looked at her, "What?"

"What?"

"What what?"

"Cookie?"

Steven scowled at his wife before grabbing the cookie, "I love you."

"I love me too." Chloe smirked before kissing him on the cheek.

Lilianna laughed, "Ryan, I love your family."
