Lilianna (NEW VERSION)

Part II: Chapter 3

"Lil?" Seth called as he stepped into the house, he frowned when she didn't answer. 

He continued searching through the house, calling her name, his heart began to beat faster as worry consumed him. He barged into their room, relaxing when he saw her walking out of the bathroom. She snapped her attention to the door, her eyes wide when she saw him panting.

"Are you okay?" she asked, walking towards him.

He nodded, "I was worried, couldn't find you."

She chuckled, "I was taking a shower, I just got done running." 

"Oh." 

"So, what did you want?" she questioned.

He bit his lip, "Um...would you want to, by any chance, go on a date tonight?"

"What's the occasion?" she mused, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He smiled, "I want to celebrate being fully mated and spend time with my girl."

She hummed her response as he kissed her, they kissed for a few minutes until she decided she needed to get dressed. "Of course! What time? Where are we going?" she rambled.

He chuckled, she stopped her panicking as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him. She relaxed against his body, sighing in content when he kissed her neck. 

"We have a few hours." he whispered, kissing his mark.

She moaned softly, "Damn, what are we going to do for those few hours?"

He smirked, "I have a few ideas." 

Lilianna sat in the passenger seat as Seth drove them to the restaurant, when she told her mother where they were going, she immediately told her she would love it. She then proceeded to have a sad look, she was confused to say the least. Seth eventually told her that Kaden took her mother there on a date. She silently thought over her mother and Kaden's relationship. He abused her, but he realized his mistakes, he told her he didn't want to be with her because he didn't want to hurt her. He knew what he was capable of, and unlike other abusers she heard of, he was trying to protect her from himself. 

She then thought about her father, how he was when she saw him in that hunters building. He was thin, pale, bloody, and had a few broken bones. However, someone was giving him medicine to help him heal, which shocked her. She had no idea who, but whoever it was, she wanted to thank them. 

"Do you think, if we ever get my dad back, him and my mom would get married?" she asked.

Seth blanched, "I...uh...I wouldn't be sure."

She furrowed her eyebrows, "Why not?"

"There's something you should know."

"What?"

"Your father is still with the hunters, but...he's working with them again. This time, by choice." 

"Did they threaten him?"

"No, his mate...she's the leader's daughter. He's the only werewolf they're friends with and she's expecting their first child."

"Already? What about my mom?" she gasped.

He sighed, "I don't know. And yeah, they were quick to complete the mating."

"How did you find this out?"
