Chapter 24

"Lil." 

Lilianna groaned and slapped the hand away, "I'm sleeping." 

"Can you sleep next to me? That looks really uncomfortable...plus, I want to hold my girl." 

Her eyes snapped open as she recognized his voice, she immediately shrieked before hugging him, tears of joy soaked a small section of his chest. He smiled softly and hugged her back, his own tears of joy rolling down his cheeks. 

"I thought I lost you." she cried.

He kissed her temple, "No, baby girl, you didn't." 

She pulled away and cupped his face, "I love you, okay? I love you more than anything and if you ever die or whatever, I will drag your ass back to earth. Got it?"

His smile grew wider, he grabbed her face and crushed his lips to her's, needing to show her he loved her. She quickly responded by kissing him back, all their love, passion, need, and desire were poured into their kiss. Once they parted, she crawled into the bed and laid beside him. He sighed in content as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against him. He nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck and took in her scent, he smiled against her warm flesh.

"God, I love you so much." he whispered.

"I love you too, Seth." she murmured, kissing him on his nose.

He chuckled and kissed her on her nose, she smiled widely at him. She then cuddled even closer to him and closed her eyes, melting into her mate's warm embrace. 

For the next two days, Seth rested in the hospital, not allowed to move until the doctor gave him the all clear. When he could finally return to the pack house, he was quick to search for his mate. He easily found her in their new room, sitting on the bed, reading a book. He ran up and jumped on her, his arms wrapped around her as he rolled onto his back. Her laughter filled his ears, making him smile even more. She was now straddling him as she smiled down at him, her eyes bright with love.

"So, what are we doing today?" she whispered as she leaned down and kissed him.

He smiled against her lips, "Can we spend all day in bed?"

"Well, if we do that, then I'm sleeping." 

"Awe, no sex?"

"Nope."

She chuckled as he pouted, "Too soon."

"Says the girl who was checking out my 'goods'." he smirked.

She blushed, "I-I was curious...."

"Uh huh...so, did you like what you saw?" he mused.

"Nope. I've seen better."

He raised an eyebrow, "Really?"

"Yeah, really." 

He sat up and crushed his lips to her's, "You're lying." 

"How would you know?" she whispered against his lips. 

"Because....you're a virgin. I can tell by your scent."

She chuckled, "You got me." 

He sighed as he laid back down, he smiled lazily up at Lilianna as she continued sitting on him. She bent down until she was laying on him with their chests touching. They stared at each other for a while, admiring each other's beauty. Seth lifted his hand and stroked her cheek, his eyes held an intense look as he studied every inch of her face.

"You really are beautiful." he murmured.

She smiled, "And you really are sexy." 

He chuckled, "I like the sound of that."

"You better." 

"I love you, baby girl." he whispered.

She sighed and nuzzled her face against his neck, "I love you too...turtle."

"Oh, come on! I thought you forgot that nickname!" 

"Nope." she grinned.

"Way to ruin the moment."

"I have to pee anyway." she laughed.

"Fine, we are hanging out for the whole day though."

"Duh."
